„Lovely cottage and welcoming hosts, enjoyed our two night break but definitely wished we had booked in for longer! Eating breakfast each morning on the patio sharing with the guinea fowl and chickens was definitely a highlight, especially with the fresh eggs available!Sadly we didnt have time to have a go at fishing in the lake but we did enjoy some evening strolls around the land which were lovely.Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends visiting the area.“

„The lodge was excellent, very spacious and comfortable. Barbara and Luke were excellent hosts. Fished the small lake as Luke said it was rarely fished. Caught bream up to 6lb on luncheon meat. Enjoyed some nice walks in the area.“

„A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. “

„Easy access and very bright clean and airy. It has everything you need and is lovely and quiet. Good outdoor space too with access to Queens Park boating lake. Bedrooms were both great but, if you struggle with mobility, the upstairs room might not be for you( very steep stairs!). The room and bed are amazing though! The fireplace is a stunner which wouldnt look out of place in a much larger property. Overall, this is a cracking little place to stay, less than five minutes from the beach and not ...

„Great property with all the needed and expected items available. House was beautifully clean for our stay with lovely white bed linen and white large bath towels. Super comfy bed on the top floor and reclining sofa in the lounge. Top floor is reached via a spiral staircase and the bathroom is on the ground floor....both fine for us as clear in the details of the property.“
