The management company that takes care of this apartment was easy to work with and were very quick to respond to my questions. The apartment overall was very clean and well taken care of but the building in general was in rough shape. There was garbage and mail all over the entry way and in the laundry room. Plus mud and dirt had been tracked in up and down the stairways. It just felt like no one was in charge of taking care of the building. Too bad as it is a lovely old Victorian. My only issue with the apartment itself is that I booked it for 7 nights and after night 1, I let Mark from the property management company know that the shower did not warm up and could he send someone to turn up the temperature on the water heater. This did not happen and I had to shower at a nearby hotel where my parents were staying. I let Mark know that the shower was still cold each day that I was there. He assured me that a plumber would come and fix the problem. Again, this did not happen. Finally on the last day when I asked him for a partial refund, he said he was sorry for the inconvenience of the cold shower but had I tried pulling out the shower handle and then turning it to hot. Evidently this issue was already known, yet I was only finding about about how to get the water to a normal temperature on my last day at the apartment. Super frustrating, as there was no acknowledgement of my issue and how to make it right. So all in all, I would not recommend this place to others.
