We were very disappointed with our stay. Unfortunately, the property was not clean upon arrival. Many surfaces were visibly dirty and sticky. The floors were so filthy that our bare feet and socks turned black within minutes of walking around. There were also numerous maintenance issues throughout the home. Several doors would not close properly, and some door handles actually came off when used. The outdoor TV and patio lights did not work, which made it very difficult to enjoy the outdoor space as advertised.Basic amenities were lacking as well. Several bathroom soap dispensers were empty, and the body wash in the shower had been watered down so much that it was essentially just water. The most concerning issue, however, was the condition of the back patio. We didn’t notice until the following morning that the patio appeared to be supported by car jacks rather than proper structural supports! Had we realized this the night before, we never would have allowed our family to gather on it. It was extremely alarming to discover after the fact, and we genuinely felt it posed a serious safety hazard. With multiple people using the patio, we were concerned it could have collapsed and caused serious injuries.Overall, this property fell far short of our expectations. Cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety should be priorities for any Vrbo host, and unfortunately this home did not meet those basic standards. I hope these issues are addressed before future guests stay here.
