« The pond did not look like it did in the picture and it was a disgusting color and did not have a beach walk in area. There was also a bug in the refrigerator and on the floor by the refrigerator and then another bug by the garbage can and there was dog food from previous people that wasn’t picked up also thought it was ridiculous at 830 in the morning there was a mowing crew outside that was woken up to on my vacation and I took pictures of it »

« We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location was excellent—quiet, peaceful, and set far enough away from town to avoid traffic, but still close enough to get anywhere quickly. The outdoor space was a big plus, especially for our dogs, who had plenty of room to roam. The beds were also very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. « The cabin is cozy, retro, with a definite "hippie" camp vibe. The short walk to the lake is well worth it to paddle around in the canoe, check out wildlife, fish, and just take in nature! We had such a good time. »

« I was in the area for a seminar and to do some hiking. The location was perfect. The cabin could not have been better and was just right size for one person - not too big, not too small. Very clean, had everything you would need, and I really liked the kitchen area. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area and would strongly recommend it. »

Host has thought of everything—spices and cookbooks in the kitchen, variety of toiletries and hygiene items in the bathroom, books and magazines, variety of games for all ages, even a hammock! She even provided yummy snacks. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area. »

« Pretty nice stay overall. Location's clean and quiet. Deer and peacocks around if you like those. Hard to get lost. Only 5 miles off from stores if you need to pick something up. Negatives: I'm short and had a hard time reaching things, so I had to buy a stool (that's a me problem, I realize). The wi-fi never worked so I had to rely on mobile data (TV streamed through satellite so that was fine). Dealt with a lot of spiders and flies. Didn't try the hot tub because two wasps were hanging around...

« We had a really nice getaway at this cabin. The hot tub was great, the shower was awesome, and the bed was super comfortable—everything inside was clean and well taken care of. It’s located right on a beautiful lake, which made for a peaceful stay.Just a heads-up for anyone looking for total seclusion: there are a few other cabins nearby, so it’s not completely private. Still, it was quiet, relaxing, and very enjoyable overall. I’d definitely come back! »

« Everything was just as hoped, and we had a wonderful stay at the White Oak cabin. Communication was fantastic, the cabin was clean and included everything we needed for comfort and to prepare meals. The hot tub was in perfect working order, the views were lovely and we were able to visit Giant City, Ferne Clyffe, Little Grand Canyon, Garden of the Gods and Rim Rock across 2.5 days. We would not hesitate to return! »
