Lunar Bungalow Southbound Stays

Our experience at Southbound Stays Lunar Bungalow was excellent! Megan was an awesome host and kept in constant communication throughout our stay. The house was extremely organized and clean. We hope to return again and possibly stay at another of Southbound Stays’ homes either in Cocoa or Tennessee. Thank you Megan for making my grandson’s birthday one to always remember!

Exceptional host and property

Communication with the owners (Megan) was very open and prompt from the minute I booked their property. The location was so convenient with an easy walk to the beach. Everything we needed for the beach was also provided. We were with our son’s family and the grandkids loved all of the toys provide on the screened in porch and in the back yard. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the dishes you could possibly need and the complimentary snacks were such a thoughtful gesture. We spent a day at Kennedy space center and left on a cruise from port Canaveral after our cruise. Both were so convenient!

Wonderful getaway for a rocket launch!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lunar Bungalow. We had to shift our dates due to Hurricane Milton and the McCreas were so accommodating. They stayed in communication in the days leading up to our trip and quickly responded to all questions. The house is adorable and perfect for families with small children. We appreciated having everything right there and loved the special touches all over the house. I hope to return to this house again for a future trip!

If you want to enjoy a few days at the beach with everything equipped, this is the place! The house is impressively well-equipped, with everything you need to go to the beach every day without any issues. The quality of the cleaning is perfect, and they take care of every detail. The host is very attentive, always ready to help and provide the best service. I will definitely return!

We loved the very detailed communication of our host. The home was prepared for the whole wonderful experience of any family. The attention to detail of the entire setup so that we can relax, find what we need to go to the beach from reusable water bottles, beach blankets, equipment, outside shower and outside spout to get rid of sand before coming in. The kitchen was fully equipped for any coffee or tea setup, to cooking and having nearby grocery and the beach. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy getting together and have our space to be by ourselves. The furniture was lovely and just comfortable inside and out in the patio. We even got to see the rocket launch!

Wow, what an incredible stay at the Beach Bungalow by Southbound Stays! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the pristine cleanliness, modern charm, and sheer beauty of this home. Just a brief 5-minute stroll to the beach and a convenient drive to all the amenities one could desire, the location couldn't have been more perfect. The kitchen was a dream, stocked with every imaginable necessity and more, making meal prep a breeze. The bedrooms were spacious, boasting enormous, ultra-comfortable beds adorned with clean and cozy linens. And the bathrooms? Impeccably clean and beautifully appointed, complete with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. But it doesn't stop there – the garage was a treasure trove of beach essentials, from chairs and umbrellas to wagons and sand toys, not to mention thoughtful additions like baby items for families with little ones in tow. Outside, the backyard oasis beckoned with its inviting patio, stocked with games and plush seating, providing the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sun and surf. What truly set this experience apart were the thoughtful touches sprinkled throughout the home, from the invitation to collect sand as a memento of our stay to the abundance of kid-friendly toys discreetly tucked away for little guests to enjoy. As seasoned travelers, including many trips with our brood of children, we can confidently say that our stay at the Beach Bungalow exceeded all expectations.

Great Host

The property was up to date, clean and spacious with great outdoor spaces also. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We did not spot any insects either. Plus the hosts were exceptional. They worked hard to anticipate our needs and were ready to help during the stay. They tried hard to make the stay memorable.

Watch the Rockets!!

Best supplied rental home I have ever stayed at. The host made sure if you forgot anything for everyday use it was already available for you. Great location to watch rocket launches from Cape Canaveral. Beach was VERY close and easily accessible. If we return to Cocoa Beach in the future this will be where we look to stay.

Perfectly AWESOME!

What can I say. The best rental we have ever stayed at while on vacation. Everything was perfect. The house size, the cleanliness, the stocked amenities, the cute little details like a camera, radio, burn cream. Plus the stocked closet with extras incase you forgot something. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Then there's the garage....FULL of anything and everything you would need to make a day at the beach comfortable and fun. The bonus screened in porch was just...again....perfect. We truly loved this house and plan to book again for next year. Other then I wish it was one block closer to the beach. The walk wasn't bad. The only con....and i mean small con...was the back bedroom fan couldn't be used without the light on. So it got hot in the evening trying to sleep. Luckily there was a box fan in the garage. Having a way to leave the overhead fan on without the light would be the only fix I can think it needs. The teen kids loved the games and extras too. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Host has made this house a great property to rent. Alexa everywhere. Speakers and lots of extras. Location is great. We brought our E-Bikes and went everywhere from port to cocoa on them.

Comfortable and pleasant home.

This house is well stocked and clean and comfortable. The pictures are precisely what is offered. Cheerful and clean and very well stocked. The owners have an excellent on line Information packet for check in and stay. The house is about 2 blocks from the ocean. It is very convenient access to everything Cocoa Beach has to offer. The owners are very accessible for questions and if any issues arise.

Perfect pet friendly family house

The house was in a wonderful neighborhood with a dog park just half a mile and walk from the property. Everything was clean and well organized. Our check-in was easy and seamless, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything we needed for our stay was provided, and we enjoyed our time with family. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent home!

We felt so comfortable in this home. Every comfort and amenity was well thought out. From the black out curtains and soft bedding, to the basket of toys for kids. Megan was very kind and quick to respond. The house was a short walk to the beach and prepped with anything you need including wagons! We will definitely be staying here next time we are in cocoa.

Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood that is close to canaveral/ cocoa beach and satellite beaches and anything else in those areas or Merrit Island. Felt at home right from the begining. Great communication with host which would have served well if there had been any problems but we had none. Watched spacex night launch from the front yard. Would definately stay again.

Amazing Stay

We had a wonderful time staying at this beach house. Megan was so helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her house was also the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in, it was spotless when we arrived. The location was great, we have 3 small children and the walk to the beach was a very short walk. I can say with confidence that this was the best vacation rental we've ever stayed at, and we will definitely return.

Home Away From Home

South Bound Stays are incredible hosts. Lunar Beach Bungalow is fully equipped with everything you need and even things you didn’t know you needed on your vacation. This is easily one of the best rentals I have stayed in. PROs: Screened in porch, Beach Gear, tons of games (indoor and outdoor), comfy beds, smart tv’s, wonderful smelling toiletries. There are no CONS to list for this property. THe host has put much thought into creating a wonderful space to get away. My favorite spot in the house was the screened in porch, my family and I spent a good part of our stay here eating, playing games, and enjoying the afternoon storms. The house is beautifully decorated, very welcoming and cozy. This will definitely be my first choice for weekend getaways to Cocoa Beach. Megan is an excellent communicator and even offered us the extra day before and after our booked trip since there was availability. I’m so glad that we got the extra time to relax and enjoy this home.
