„We enjoyed our visit at Hunter Ridge Cabins, the on sight staff is friendly and outgoing. They frequently checked in with us to assure our needs were met. They also made suggestions for local events and businesses to attend. We also loved their dogs, Riggs and Kate. “

„Cabin was nice & updated. The property was nice with the pool & in close proximity to all that Concan & river have to offer. Only 4 stars on cleanliness because it seems some small things were missed on cleanup before our checkin, but nothing big & easily wiped down by us. Owners were very nice & attentive. Overall, great stay & would definitely recommend & use in the future.“

„Very clean and cozy place to stay. If you want to spend a weekend in Leaky, Uvalde area, this spot is a great option. 5 minutes to Leaky town (grocery and some local restaurants), 15 minutes to GSP. The host is very friendly. She let us early check in and provided all the instructions we need in for the stay. The checkout process is super straightforward as well. “

„Overall I had a great experience. The room was clean, it’s been remodeled, was quiet, conveniently located, & the check in staff was nice. My only complaint was the cleaning staff woke my kids & I up in the morning. Check out is at 11am, so I didn’t appreciate being woken up hours before 11. They shouldn’t be disturbing the rooms that guests have not checked out of. “

„Great hotel we stay at every year when visiting Garner State park nearby. Very close to a walmart and fast food choices like Subway, Whataburger Jack in the box, wingstop within 5 min. Comfy beds, fast elevator, nice breakfast, fancy coffee machine. Only thing is key card reader on back of building doesnt work causing us to walk around. Clean . Also clean pool“

„August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great. They were fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans they provided a coffee maker and microwave. Everything was great. The cabin was literally like in their description just minutes away ...
