Flys. Construction. Frat parties at pool.
Hundreds of flies (alive ones) inside the house when we arrived which proved to be a constant battle during our stay. Construction 7 days a week. Blocked parking spaces by construction vehicles. Porta potty and dumpster right next to driveway. Construction looks like it will be bad till late 2024 at least.
We found out the hard way that the master bathroom has an unrestricted view by the second story of the house next door which is under construction. We were not pleased when we found them watching our shower. We had to put paper up in the windows to block the shower view of the construction workers.
All “guest” amenities need to be booked way in advance otherwise impossible to get.
Beach is not private. Rather they try and stake a claim on a public beach which doesn’t prevent people from setting up in front of you.
The community pool was always filled with dueling Bluetooth speakers and frat boys throwing footballs and pushing each other as our kids tried to swim. Even during the family movie night at the pool incredibly drunk dudes had a yelling match while replaying scenes of their football glory days.
The house is nice but lacked many essentials that you would normally expect on a VRBO.
The entire place is ran by kids. No joke. The oldest worker I encountered was 25 at best.
We emailed the host on day one with no response.
Don’t stay here. I warned you.
