« The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. « The property was just as described. There was a lag in communication the day of, had to request the info to access the cabin. Theres 3, be sure you go into the right one. The location is perfect, the cabin is cute and has what you nees. Bring any food, drinks or games. Theres a grill and a firepit on site if you're interested. Loved having the winery at the bottom of the hill. Highly recommend this cabin if you're in the area. »

« The location alone is spectacular, particularly in mid-fall, though the boats are absolutely right that it's a cell phone wasteland. Fortunately the house WiFi can handle all but the most intense gaming loads (bandwidth is great but satellite-level pings) and has plenty of TVs board games, and other pastimes for those seeking a digital detox. « If you're looking for privacy and serenity, this is the place to stay! The property is well maintained. The Buckhannon river is only a rocks throw away and the sound of the water was very calming. I am from West Virginia and know that area fairly well, but my Garmin GPS took me to this property with no issue. »
