« Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle...

« This property is on the Lake Road, a main road that runs from Windermere to Bowness. Bus stops are nearby and fairly frequent and can take you into nearby Windermere, if you don't want to walk, or other parts of the Lake District eg Grasmere. The property itself is lovely, slightly rustic, but I like that 'home from home' feel. Our room (Kingsize) was very well laid out, had useful amenities and quite comfortable. One small gripe, which Richard warned us about, is the wardrobe not closing...

« Très décevant comme séjour. L'insonorisation est POURRIE (style feuille de carton) et les deux nuits nous sommes en plus tombé sur des fêtards qui profitent du fait qu'il n'y a pas d'employé la nuit pour se promener partout dans le lobby et corridor en faisant claquer les portes. Le matelas serait dû pour être changé, on ressentait tous les ressorts.. Bref, le seul point positif est le magnifique paysage entourant le lodge et le très bon petit-déjeuner (par contre on doit payer, non inclus). »
