« Excellent hotel a few minutes walk from the centre of Bowness on Windermere. All the staff we met were helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and well appointed. We used the Spa pool and sauna. The breakfast had everything you could possibly wish for. »

« The hotel is set in a beautiful location with stunning views overlooking Lake Windermere. The staff are lovely, efficient, and professional- we were even allowed to check in early and received a wonderful room upgrade on arrival! « We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« Personnel vraiment très accueillant. Chambre de belles dimensions pour le prix avec petit dej énorme inclus et parking gratuit. Grande salle de bains (toilettes dans la sdb). Lits un peu mous mais ça va. Très belle terrasse sur le lac. En revanche le resto est cher et la brasserie bruyante. Il vaut mieux diner dehors. »

« Badly needs bringing into the 21st century. No air conditioning in the rooms, and basic TVs with only Freeview. Need to change to smart TV or at least be able to Chromecast. Rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping unless you ask and when i did on 1 occasion they still didn't do it. I reminded them on reception after waiting 6 hours but still never turned up. In the end i knocked on housekeeping door to get fresh towels myself! Cooked breakfast was nice but very limited options for continental....

« What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed.
