« Remote location a top North Peak a 6000ft. The view is just amazing with a deck to take it all in. Coffee and Knitting each morning. Amazing being up above the clouds. It was exactly the retreat that my wife and I wanted. The place can be a little tricky to find after dark so checking in during daylight is key. « The cottage is immaculate and decorated in a very pleasant manner that fits the Julian vibe. When I had questions, the host answered them quickly. All appliances are new, the kitchen and bath have both been very recently remodeled with attractive finishes. Very pleasant ambiance. My only cautionary note is that when booked thru VRBO, my credit card was charged a very large damage deposit upfront along with the cost of the stay. Perhaps that could be reconsidered. »

« It’s the best place that we stayed in the mountains. We saw pictures of the place but when we arrived we were more amazed than the pictures give credit for. The cabin had a creative style and was very spacious and perfectly clean and had a very positive atmosphere. It was amazing how many different animals and birds are in the back yard and big raccoon came to visit us. We had an amazing time by fire place in the back yard.
