„We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. “

„It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever ...

The cabin was clean, comfortable We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evening. The host was also very kind and welcoming, making sure we felt right at home, We would definitely recommend it to anyone. “

„As always great stay, great responsive hosts. There were 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 kids. If this cabin is designed for 6 people I would recommend the host to add 3 chairs to the dining table. Otherwise everything worked great!“
