My oh my. This place is AMAZING and was EXACTLY what we needed for our stay. Let’s talk about the amenities. Kitchen: most fully stocked kitchen in a rental I’ve ever seen. It had crockpots and large pots and plenty of bowls and plates and glasses. The space was amazing for food prep. There was even ice in the freezer for us!The basement/tavern/game room was a perfect place for us to play pool and darts and have a glow in the dark dance party. The master suite has the most comfy bed and a great shower. From charging extension cords to instructions in every room on how to work items, I was and still am amazed at each and every item that helped make our stay so great and the intentionality behind them. The cabins were adorable and fun and had what we needed. The pool house/hot tub was amazing for conversation and a great time with our group. The views! The craftsmanship! The location!Wow wow wow! We hope to be able to rent this home again next year when we return.

What a beautiful place! Indoor pool was amazing! View and lake awesome. We were there with about 25 family members to celebrate my daughter’s wedding! The host were available when we needed them and responded immediately after! Highly recommend

Annual Family Reunion

4 generations of 17 ages 1-75. Pros: We had a blast. Everyone had fun. Memories created. Big, never crowded, could eat together in kitchen. Fished (caught right off dock), kayaked, rented a pontoon for the week. Enjoyed the pool & the free splash pad at the park downtown (Sunday best, week days busy w/summer camps)The kitchen is well stocked w/huge baking sheets, 2 crockpots lots of utensils. We brought plastic storage for leftovers (do that). Outdoor kitchen great for smoking & grilling & mini fridge works. toys/games/books included.Cons: Lodge mattresses need replaced bad. Upstairs bath w/tub only, toilet moves & seat is crooked. Downstairs bath ceiling dripped so unusable at times. Steep driveway. No railing for downstairs stairs (safety?) House needs maintenance & love. Layout of property: Steep driveway that needs trees trimmed. Lodge is at the bottom of the hill.Main level: pool is outside of house through a breezeway with its own entrance. Gym is in the garage. The kitchen/dining, pantry, laundry, half bath, living room & master bedroom (right off the kitchen) are on this floor. Upstairs is 4 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. 1 w/shower the other a jetted tub only, no shower (not ideal). Downstairs is the game room, bar & movie room, full bath w/shower (ceiling leaked). Outdoor kitchen.Cabin locs: Main level, closest to the lodge, the Mystic Bunk & Mystic Loft sit next to each other. The Mystic Retreat cabin & sauna/steam spa cabin sit half way up the steep hill.

The whole family had an amazing time! We roasted marsh mellows by the fire, played pool, went to the sauna, swam in the inside swimming pool, relaxed in the whirlpool, kids enjoyed the entertainment room, and I really enjoyed the gaming table(it had games on it that I played when I was little). Highly recommend and we will be back.

NACA volleyball tournament

We had 4 adults and 13 players on this trip. We never had any issues with not enough room. All the girls had a blast. The house was close to town but far enough out to feel private! I highly recommend this for future stays.

Beautiful Lake Getaway!

This lake property had everything: waterfront, beautiful main house with wood throughout, cabins for families to spread out, sauna, indoor pool with hot tub, pool table, kayaks, etc.! We can't even name everything. The whole family came together from all four corners of the U.S. for a niece's wedding in TN, and everyone loved the place!

Large family lake trip

This is a great property for a large family. There were 16 of us and everyone had a great time. The property itself offers tons of things to do: kayaking, pool table. video games, sauna, indoor pool, fishing, etc. There is a surprisingly nice playground in Dayton with a splashpad.for younger kids. Chattanooga is an easy 45 minute drive with an excellent aquarium, Rock City, Ruby Falls and good restaurants. We had a couple of issues during our stay and the owner was very prompt in getting them resolved and followed-up to make sure everything was great.

Cecconi family vacation

Nice property but a few areas need a bit of tender loving care . Outside kitchen needed new grates on grills as well as smoker . Striker was not working and lack of propane prohibited our plan to use the outdoor equipment . Some outdoor furniture / chairs need replacement of broken arm and seat rails , but we made due /some of the stair treads were loose and we adjusted to that . The facility offers many activities . The bar , theater room , pool, pool Table , darts and game table as well as kayaks and lake were enjoyed . The driveway is very steep Which we knew in advance so it took a bit of time moving the boat up and down . A covered dock with power to charge batteries would probably attract the fishing crowd . My husband , son and grandson took advantage of the fishing with their boat but again it was a bit of a challenge getting it back down the drive . All in all the family had a nice stay.

Family Celebration

We had a great week. There are definitely some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. They did not effect the overall stay but I hope someone goes into to maintain this beautiful property. We enjoyed the dock, pool, game room and bar area. The movie room was a great escape for littles in our group.

Great family time

My family of 4 kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren (22 total) had the absolute best time at this amazing property. We were nervous as this is our first family vacation away from the beaches of Florida but this place did not disappoint. The space was beyond perfect, offering multiple rooms in the main lodge, and 3 exterior cabins so all families had their own space, with bathrooms, kitchenettes, coffee makers, etc. The property is positioned right on the lake and the kids thoroughly enjoyed fishing from the pier. There were 5 kayaks with paddles and life vests which were a hit with the whole family. The indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna were used constantly and simply made our stay all the better. There were a couple minor issues which were quickly addressed by the owner. Can’t recommend this property enough. We plan on returning next year.

Familia Rivera Weekend Trip

This cabin rental was perfect for a large family weekend getaway -- crew of 20! There was plenty of space in the cabin to do all sorts of family activities/games but also for everyone to kinda do their own thing when wanted. The pool was definitely our favorite part of the cabin--if you're wondering how big it is, we were all able to enjoy it simultaneously without it being crowded. If you have a family who likes to keep busy with activities without getting bored, but still relaxing this is the cabin for you!! We literally used every inch of this space -- every cabin, the bar area, the grills outside, the fire pit, the kitchen for sure, the arcade video game table, the sauna! the movie room was def a favorite as well, even the gym was used. Literally everything was used and thoroughly enjoyed. This cabin is literally perfect for every member of the family. Whenever we had any questions about the property, the managers and owners replied right away, they were so kind and so helpful - definitely made us feel very welcomed. The cabin was equipped for everything we needed to enjoy the weekend and whatever we needed walmart was a 5 min drive. Looking forward to booking during the summer so we can enjoy the lake area with the kayaks. Definitely a 10/10 recommend!!! :)

Great Place for a Reunion!

My college ROTC 1980s group gets together every November consisting of six couples all over 50 years old. We get together every November for a long weekend. We're always looking for a great property and definitely found it at Mystic River Lodge. It's a great property with meeting spaces and nice bedrooms. The amenities are all nice and modern. The location is great for hiking and many other activities. The owners are incredibly nice and responsive to needs. Definitely a keeper!!
