Für mich sind es 2 bis maximal 3 Sterne. Für 1-2 Nächte ist es OK. Dass Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte eine Renovierung / Sanierung. Auf jedenfalls kein Best Western Standard.

Die Lage ist perfekt,nur wenn man bei 3 Nächten nochmal umziehen muss ist das mehr wie ärgerlich. Der Pool ist lange nicht so schön wie auf den Fotos,und alles sehr abgetanzt.

Mitten in der Altstadt am Creek . 150 m zur Metro-Station. Gold-Souk und Gewürz-Souk in der Nähe. Abra-Station in der Nähe. Verkehrslärm Tag und Nacht. Die Fenster halten den Lärm nicht vollständig ab. Das Zimmer könnte mal einen neuen Teppichboden vertragen. Ansonsten war alles dem Preis entsprechend. Der Reinigungsmann im 13. Ober-geschoss hat sehr sauber gearbeitet.

Schönes Hotel direkt am Creek.
Ich war geschäftlich für 5 Nächte in Dubai. Das Hotel hat alles was man braucht. Restaurants, kleine Geschäfte und Metro gleich in der Nähe. Wenn man ein Zimmer in Richtung Creek hat, dann hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Creek und die Stadt. Der Nachteil, wenn man lärmempfindlich ist, dann sollte man die andere Seite wählen, da zwischen Creek und Hotel eine stark befahrene Straße liegt. Ich persönlich habe die Aussicht genossen. Personal war immer aufgeschlossen und freundlich. Das Zimmer war offiziell ein Nichtraucherzimmer, ich konnte aber den Zigarettengeruch deutlich wahrnehmen.

Ordentliches Vier-Sterne Haus
Das Hotel ist ein Vier-Sterne Haus und bietet einen ordentlichen durchschnittlichen Komfort. Beim Einchecken gab es ein kleines technisches Problem, welchen vom Service aber sofort und zufriedenstellend gelöst wurde. Fragen, die ich als erstmalige in Dubai hatte wurden mir umfassend beantwortet. Das Hotel liegt günstig gelegen und bot ein vernünftiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Hotel war sauber mit dem typischen arabischen Gewusel, was ich aus anderen arabischen Ländern kenne. Der einzige kleine Nachteil war, das die Zimmertüren sehr laut zufallen. Dafür hatte ich einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Creek.

Fünf Tage Dubai nahe Gold-Souk
Wir haben dieses Hotel explizit gewählt, weil die Lage ausgezeichnet ist. Es liegt dirket am Dubai Creek und nahe (Gold)-Souk. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung sind ausgezeichnet, besonders für Schmuck, Parfüm, Kosmetik, Gewürze und traditionelle Kleidung. Spät am Abend sind die Straßen voll mit Menschen aller Länder und hier macht uns Shopping und auch Essen gehen richtig Spaß. Im Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter mäßig (Rezeption) bis sehr freundlich (Housekeeping, Pool). Die drei Fahrstühle könnten besser miteinander abgestimmt sein, denn wenn ein Gast auf einer Etage den Fahrstuhl ruft, fahren alle dort hin und oft bleibt man an einer leeren Etage stehen, das sollte technisch doch möglich sein. Ansonsten hat uns Alles sehr gut gefallen.

Stanza con affaccio sul Creek, rumorosissima per i rumori della strada e delle imbarcazioni del Creek. Le finestre non chiudono affatto bene, al punto che, oltre al rumore, in base al vento entrava in camera un forte odore di scarico dei diesel delle barche. Servizio mediocre: non rispondono praticamente mai alle email e sono poco disponibili anche di persona o sul numero WhatsApp che forniscono all'arrivo. Colazione per lo più orientale, c'è poco del dolce cui siamo abituati in italia (questa è una caratteristica, non un difetto). Posate poggiate a diretto contatto con una tovaglietta che non veniva pulita quando qualcuno si alzava. Quando ci si alzava il tavolo veniva pulito buttando le briciole per terra. Pulizia in camera mediocre, un pezzetto di carta è rimasto per terra per 5 giorni. Un giorno mancava l'asciugamano per la doccia, un altro quello per i piedi, un giorno la carta igienica... Posizione ottima se si vuole un minimo di autenticità emiratina. Supermercati nei paraggi dove comprare anche souvenir a prezzi buoni. Metropolitana verde a 7 minuti, rossa a 13 minuti a piedi.

We had a good stay overall. The reception was good( fast check in) . Breakfast was our favorite during our stay. This hotel could benefit from a good renovation ( the carpet was old, with a bit of smell) Our bedroom had some humidity stains on the walls. Linen & towels were clean but very used. We had a room with a small living room area, two twin beds, another room with king bed and one bathroom. There was also adequate closet space and a mini fridge, safe, kettle, and two coffee/tea cups. It was spacious and clean. However, if there are multiple people staying in one room, provide more than one room key at check in. If you only provide one key, once they are in the room they have to use that key to put in the key holder to have access to the electricity and A/C in the room. If there are two people, give two room keys, for three people give three room keys, etc. This is important because just because people check in together, does not meant they will stay together and go the same places at the same time. Also, I understand reusing the room keys once someone checks out, but at least colorox wipe/clean the room key before giving it to another person because the room keys were dirty. The same issue with the room keys occurred with the towels. Provide the adequate number of towels and wash cloths per person in the room. The breakfast buffet was unorganized and disappointing. No one checked us in or took us to a table. You basically have to grab a table wherever you can and ask the staff to clean it off for you, and they just clean off the plates/bowls/cups but do not wipe down the table. The seating area is very limited. Staff should monitor guests to ensure they are taking the food to put on their plates with utensils and not their hands.

A nightmare!
They announced it as a 4 Stars hotel in Dubai! Oh no nothing could be more wrong! What a big joke! I wouldn’t even give it one star. I don’t know where to start! Everything is a substandard. Bathroom is dirty, bath towels are smelly and old. The room is miserable. We felt really happy just go away from this hotel and I will never go back again!

The hotel itself has become a bit outdated even the rooms interior and decor feels old. The room had lingering cigarette smoke smell which made it quite uncomfortable, unfortunately they were fully booked so I couldn't even change rooms. Staff did not clean the room for 2 days, no vacuuming was done, even tissue roll was replaced after repeatedly calling housekeeping multiple times. Breakfast buffet was largely Indian menu and maybe I was expecting it to be better. The location is superb, the bus stop is directly at the doorstep and Metro station (Green line) is just a 5 minute walk away. A few stations away you can even change to Red line so it's super convenient. It's at the heart of Deira (Baniyas Square) where the Gold souq, Dubai Creek and other famous areas of old Dubai are just a short walk away. Overall, maybe the great location makes up for the other shortcomings.
