Tolle Lage, Tolles Hotel, leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Gebäck ist nicht automatisch auf das Zimmer gekommen, zu wenig Auflagen für die Liegen am Pool aber im großen und ganzen zum weiter empfehlen.

Ultramodern-kühles Hotel in Dubai nahe Downtown
Das Hotel macht wegen seiner ultrastylischen Einrichtung und vorherrschenden blauen, schwarzen und grauen Tönen z.B. im Foyer einen kühlen Eindruck - was im Sommer bei den Temperaturen sicher nicht schlecht wirkt. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig und ebenfalls hochmodern-schick eingerichtet, bei manchen Zimmern dauerte es allerdings ewig, bis die Dusche warm wurde. Es gibt u.a. einen Club, 2 Restaurants und ein tolles, internationales Frühstücksbuffet. Als wir in der Nacht - nach Mitternacht - dort eingecheckt hatten, feierten irgendwelche Gäste oder wer auch immer nach ihrem Clubbesuch sowohl in ihrem Zimmer und auf dem Flur weiter. Ich rief 2mal die Rezeption an, und man versicherte mir, man würde sich drum kümmern. Geschehen ist aber nichts, und wir wurden bis morgens um 6 beschallt. Wir verlangten sofort andere Zimmer, andernfalls würden wir sofort ausziehen. Das wurde dann aber auch sofort mit vielen Entschuldigungen des Managers - auch schriftlich - arrangiert, inkl. Pralinen als Trostpflaster. Lieber wäre es uns gewesen, man hätte die eine Nacht nicht berechnet. Ab dann lief aber alles sehr gut, die Zimmer waren total ruhig und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

I arrived after midnight and there was night club on the ground floor....I didn't expect a night club below a hotel of class of V Hotel. It was noisy at the room from the night club but I was tired and slept. That was Saturday night and from Sunday it was very quiet.

the hotel room offers a bathtub, one of the main reasons I made the booking. on arrival, I opened the water tap to see yellow dirty water coming from the tap. I informed the staff, and after a few hours, they called me as I was out of the room, to say that they had fixed the issue. I used the bathtub, and after I got out of the water, I realized that there was a lot of black debris at the bottom, which I later found to be rust particles. This caused me a skin infection and ruined my whole trip, I had to take a lot of medication and visit the doctor, to soothe the rash and burning on my skin, I could not go out and sightsee and enjoy my time for a whole week. it is disappointing for such a hotel not to have proper maintenance. I was left with both pain and horrible memories for my trip.

Quirky, large and very well laid out rooms
The location of the property is great, access easy. The rooms were very out of the box and spacious. Specially recommend the room with the round bed. We visited for new years when they were fully booked and the staff were over worked. Despite that, they maintained a smile, were friendly and managed to get us a room upgrade. Extremely happy with the service, cleanliness, rooms and the food. Only small complaint is with the hotel entry - the famous show le Perle shares the entry and there’s always a rush to get into the driveway, not too bothersome but need to give a few extra minutes there.

Nice hotel in a central part of Dubai. Lots of dining and entertainment options within the property. Definitely a hotel to stay in if you are looking for a good time in Dubai. It also links to the Hilton hotel next to the property so you can avail yourself of the their entertainment options.
