„Wir haben im Juli 2022 3 Wochen im Castle verbracht und haben es sehr genossen! Für uns hat alles perfekt gepasst! Der Bau, die Ausstattung und die einmalige Lage mit der wunderbaren Aussicht machen diese FeWo einzigartig. Wir haben viele Ausflüge in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung gemacht. Sind zum Meer herunter gelaufen, haben die Ruhe genossen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Es ist definitiv ein Ort um wieder einmal hinzugehen.“

„Angate cottage is nicely decorated, well maintained, clean, and very cosy. Everything needed for a holiday was provided. Despite being located on a busy road the traffic noise was no issue, and especially at night it was very quiet. Short walk to the town center with some good pubs, restaurants and shops. Many good hikes can be started directly from the cottage. Communication with Eileen and Kevin was very fast and friendly, and Kevin showed us around when we arrived. We would love to stay here ...

The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!! „The cottage is great, it was very clean and unusually well equipped. We enjoyed the calm and quiet, the children especially loved the sheep right in front of the little garden. The location is well situated to have great days out, there is so much to do in the area. The hosts are very friendly and especially helpful.“

„The cottage was lovely, clean and cosy. But the cottage its self is very remote . You need to get your supplies before you get there as there is nothing in the cottage has in a welcome pack . The hot tub was only luke warm and was never checked all weekend. Which wasnt good ! I was expecting it to be hot / warm . The cottage could do with suppling a few essentials like salt , pepper , oil and more than 1 toilet roll for 2 toilets . But the cottage itself was nice, clean and well presented, ...

„Cute little cottage in a quiet little town, down a little side street away from the main road, suited our needs. We stayed n December so the cottage although small took a fair time to warm up , underfloor heating downstairs was nice but the fire needed to be on aswell to heat the cottage toa decent temp. I thought the heaters upstairs were too small to heat both the bedroom and the bathroom. Dogs are allowed in the property but not allowed on furniture, nice touch was a little basket with ...
