„Room in a bad shape, but the bathroom was the most terrifying I ever experienced. A very very bad old urinary kind of smell. The toilet lid fell all the time down and a lot of foreign hair on the bathroom floor. Went back to the lady behind the bar and asked for another room mentioning the bad smell. According to her, no other room available.“

„We had an excellent stay. The accommodation had an awesome rustic feel with newly renovated, clean rooms and the restaurant below was also fantastic. The location was beautiful and close enough to walk to the Stourhead and take in the stunning gardens. Staff was also very kind and helpful. Cannot reccomend this place enough!“

„We were not expecting such a great hotel - it is truly a 'New Forest Inn', at breakfast we were treated to a 'walk-by' of New Forest Ponies' - which was fun as they walked very slowly past the 'Inn'. And the breakfast was 'scrumptious'!
Food was fabulous, staff were very friendly - and the room was very comfortable and clean - would definitely stay here again - very many thanks - Larisa & Paul Warren-Smith “
