The contemporary kitchen and dining area sits just behind, featuring a sleek breakfast bar island, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. There is even an air conditioning for added comfort in the summer months. A ground-floor shower room with WC adds extra convenience.

Upstairs, the generous master bedroom includes a king-size bed, built-in wardrobes and another air conditioning units. Two further bedrooms – a charming twin and a cosy single, both with characterful sloping ceilings – mean this family friendly property is ideal for a family of five (or friends sharing). The second bathroom on this level boasts a bath with shower over.

Along the seafront, the striking Redoubt Fortress provides a fascinating glimpse into Eastbourne’s history, while its pavilion café is a wonderful spot to take in sweeping sea views.
