« What was unique about this place were the "little things". Mints in the bedroom, snacks and coffee k-cups in the kitchen, and toiletries (should you need them) in the bathroom. The entire cottage had positive vibes throughout. Photographic displays of a friend, extra blankets in not 1 room, but 2. Pillows, lots of pillows. I would say the cottage had recently been renovated for it had the fresh smell of cut wood which adorned the ceiling! »

« Fantastic option close enough to Acadia/Bar Harbor but much quieter. It’s about a 30 min drive to the visitor’s center and 45 minutes to get further into the park/Bar Harbor, but it’s a straightforward, easy drive.
