Gorgeous Apartment!

We spent 2 weeks traveling across Ireland and Scotland and this was our favorite accommodation! It’s beautiful and the location is absolutely perfect! We loved having space to spread out and relax after a long day of sightseeing. The owners provided fast and seamless communication and even provided a bottle of Prosecco which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this property!!

Our stay at the Matisse Suite could not have been better. The host's communication, caring, and attitude were the best I have experienced on VRBO. Additionally, the suite was clean, well-decorated, wonderfully located, and full of modern conveniences. Given that we were there to put our son into University, I envision staying here many times over the next few years.

Everything about our stay was flawless. Good up-front communication, easy to access, the unit was as nice as advertised, clean, and well-supplied. We had three wonderful days in Edinburgh, and staying in the Matisse Suite contributed to our great memories of the city.

Beautiful apartment with every need catered for

We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment and can't wait to come back. Not only was the location extremely central, but everything we could have needed was provided, and it was beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable with gorgeous linens, appliances are top of the range; everything is the standard of a luxury hotel but so much nicer, particularly the fabulous bathroom. We really enjoyed returning to relax in between trips around Edinburgh. Thank you for all the first rate and easy communication too.

Perfect, quiet location

Lovely, chic apartment!! Has every amenity of home and more. Perfect after a long day of sightseeing. We arrived early evening and was happily surprised!! Beautifully decorated and so comfortable! Located just behind the Edinburgh Castle with easy access to the Royal Mile and theatre's.

Beautiful in Every Way, Great Location, Will Be Back!

My husband and I stayed over 3 weeks in this beautiful flat and didn’t want to leave! It was clean, extremely well laid out and comfortable, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully organized. Bed was so comfortable, too. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was new. It was a great home away from home!

Great 1 bedroom with a few logistical issues

This is a well decorated, larger unit in a great location. Everything is within walking distance and overall we had a great stay with the exception of 2 logistical issues. These can or probably have been remedied. Check in - the lockbox with key was broken and we were unable to access the unit. Had to wait about an hour for the local property manager to get there to let us inside. Frustrating after almost 24 hours of travel at 8pm, cold temperatures, when we just wanted to get inside to sleep. (The owner was kind enough to let us store our bags for the afternoon, however, they were locked inside so we were unable get warmer clothes while we waited) Washer and dryer did not work when we attempted to use it. Again, property manager needed to come back to fix. Owner was sympathetic to our telling him it was not working. However, it took us texting a few times to property manager directly to get him there next afternoon. There is a switch that needs to be flipped if that happens. Would be good to put a note on the washer as an instruction. Few suggestions: 1. Since there is no hairdryer use allowed in bathroom, add a setup in the bedroom with an area to get ready with mirrors to use. I had to stand in the entryway where the only other mirrors are. (bedroom is large enough to accommodate this) 2. Adding luggage racks or dresser with drawers in bedroom. Had to set our bags on the floor. With these few easy adjustments, would be a perfect place to stay.

Amazing apartment in great location

I wish we could have stayed longer at this apartment! It was so beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and James even left us a fresh bag of coffee and milk in the fridge. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a great shower. Walking distance to the castle and numerous bars and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing Property and Location

My wife and I wanted a great location to explore Edinburgh for several days/nights. Look no further! This location has amazing views of Edinburgh Castle from the footsteps of the flat and east walking distances to explore the rest of the what Edinburgh has to offer. Check-in was seamless, communication by the owner was timely and our stay was nothing but top notch. What an amazing experience and property! Amazing!!!

My husband and I had the best vrbo experience at 1A Cambridge! High end everything throughout the beautifully designed flat. Spotless, with comfortable bed and fluffy linens. Walking distance to everything. Directly across from the castle. Friendly and helpful owner with a great staff of people on standby for initial meet and greet (and anything else you may need, which we did not) 5 stars all the way. Highly recommend!!!

Great Visit to Edinburgh

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment in Edinburgh. The apartment was well furnished and in a very convenient location. We did not do much cooking while we were there but thoroughly enjoyed the set up for morning coffee! The bathroom was sizable and well appointed with plenty of towels and soaps. The bedroom and bedroom closet were a very nice size. There was a large TV in both the living area and the bedroom. Even though the apartment was at garden level the apartment was well lit and did not feel dark. We were able to walk to most attractions with just a few taxi/uber rides to restaurants away from the main shopping areas. We traveled from Edinburgh to St Andrews and the train station was an easy walk. I communicated with James, the owner, a few times before our stay he responded promptly to my inquiries and was very helpful. We would certainly stay in the apartment again.
