Hotel Elba

« They have the air conditioning turned off until you get into your room. Sweltering!!!! Then they controlled it throughout the night. Sweltering. Would I stay here again? Not!!!! »

« The room smelled of mold the tv didn’t work, the bathroom was dirty. We have to take showers on campus in my daughter’s dorm room. And I was promised free breakfast and there wasn’t any. I truly haters the fact the change my hotel to this one. »

« Unfortunately, our room had several issues. There was a strong mildew smell. I couldn't pinpoint the source. AT first, I thought it might have been one of the air conditioners but later, I thought it may have been a symptom of one of the other issues. The refrigerator door did not seal and there was a large chunk of ice inside that was slowly melting and leaking onto the floor. They did replace the refrigerator when we let them know. The smell persisted but they said they couldn't move us...

« I usually stay at a Hampton or a Hilton because they are usually clean and well maintained. Our first room was still dirty with the door propped open and they beds stripped and no housekeeping till the next day. They moved us to another room that was supposedly clean. I cleaned the counters, floors, and bathroom before staying there. The pool was dirty. Keys quit working numerous times during the day. I usually don’t care about anything except a clean space but this was not it. »

« The rooms were poor especially from a person who has allergies. The spell of mold hits you when you open the door, mold by the air conditioner and on the curtains, the toilet seat was loose. However the staff was so accommodating and every understanding. They took care of me right away. »

« I was passing through, arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning. This motel was good for that purpose. It's clean and well cared for, but it's an old motel used for 1 night stays while people are on the road passing through town. It was good for that and exactly what I expected. I'd recommend it if you want a clean motel for a fair price. »
