I love this cabin!

This home is truly beautiful, it is close to town which was really nice. The hosts are very sweet and really good at communicating fast. The view from the cabin is gorgeous, saw a lot of deer passing through the trees and you could see the beautiful mountains. They have a lot of kitchen necessities that made it easy to cook and the pool table was super fun.

Cabin very nice, communication not so much

Cabin was very nice and comfortable but some of the mattress need to be replaced, very uncomfortable. Kitchen was nicely equipped but when we wanted to have a glass of wine there was no wine opener. Sounds silly but very inconvenient at 7:00pm when we had to go to Walmart to purchase one, we did leave it for the next renters. The communication with the host/ management company was very poor and frustrating from the beginning but a few days before check in I spoke with someone directly who understood why I was so frustrated and went out of her way to explain the reasons and to make things right..

Spacious, Clea, and Relaxing Lodge

We enjoyed our 4 night stay as a family of 6 at Buck Valley Lodge. The cabin was very clean , proved plenty of bath towels as well as towels for hot tub. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking, only thing I would suggest is some dish towels and more dish soap. All 3 bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and soap. May want to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels for kitchen, there is enough to get started. Our teens enjoyed the pool table, however we’re disappointed the advertised basketball game was broken and not workable. I would suggest taking it off the listing or replacing as it was one reason we chose the cabin for the boys to play while we were in the cabin. There are also marshmallow sticks provided for the fire pit. The beds were ok, not terrible but not the best. We had plenty of space to spread out. We really enjoyed watching all the deer farm the decks as well as throughout the resort. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this lovely space.

Friends’ Weekend Getaway

We stayed 2 nights and it was great! The house was really nice and had almost everything we’d need. If you are planning to cook and have leftovers, bring aluminum foil, Tupperware and/or ziploc bags. Also, we could not get the dishwasher to run on its own without having someone push against it so we had to do our dishes by hand. Other than that, the house is perfect. There are tons of fun activities to do in the area. We went tubing and to a winery and had a great time. 10/10 recommend!

Book this cabin it's excellent for a simple and relaxing getaway

The cabin was very spacious with olenty of room and the floorplan was great. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Its a great place for a realxing family getaway or vacation. You can sit on the porch and watch 100's of deer up close and occasionally a bear might pass within sight distance. Theres is plenty to do without leaving the resort such as swimming in the pools or river, going off many of the rope swings in yhe river, fishing or floating the river and much, much more. The kids loved it and we wished we could have stayed longer. We'll definitley be back again. We cant't say enough good things. Book this place you won't be sorry

Family reunion

Close to tow while nestled completely in the wood. Great views in wildlife preserve. The host had ample communication and went out of the way to make sure we were happy. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Cabin in a wonderful community

We loved our stay! There was a little confusion with the leasing agency at check in, but quickly resolved. The cabin had everything we needed to cook for the week, plenty of towels, and linens. We loved the amenities in the resort. We can’t wait to return this summer to enjoy all the other amenities opening up. Ellijay is a quaint little town. Be sure to go in and check out the Beau-tiful Art studio our kids spent 2 days creating there! We enjoyed the proximity to surrounding areas like Blue Ridge and also went to Carters Lake to see the nature center and do a little hike with the kids. The kids loved watching the many deer graving on the property some coming up very close to us to visit.

A Gem in Ellijay!

The cabin was great for our family of 9. Though we didn't bring our dog this place would also be great for pets. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We even did a pre- Christmas dinner with fixings and it was great. The rooms are beautiful and the terrace level feels like your own private space too. The only thing I wish we knew was that we have to constantly check in at the gate every time we come in and that was for each car. I also recommend AWD or 4WD because some of the roads are steep and gravel. The resort is over 5000 acres with multiple parks. Elijah is 20 minutes from Blue ridge. We also drove to Helen and Atlanta which was 1 hour and 30 minutes each. We visited Anna Ruby Falls which was great for the family including a toddler and stroller. Ellijay downtown is sweet and the shops have unique gifts for all. Everyone is so friendly and kind. We already want to go back for another amazing vacation.

A Plus Experience

My family and I were looking for a quick mountain trip for Spring Break and found this gem in Ellijay. The house had everything we needed and more. We found a lot of things to do that cost little to no money. We got to see the river, beautiful scenery and a lot of deer who didn't seem to notice us. We even got them to come eat a few strawberries which the children loved. The communication with the owners was great. They got back to me in a timely manner and helped with questions I had. I would definitely book this home again if it was available.

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

We loved saying at this cabin! Checking in was smooth and easy! The location was perfect, close to Ingles and Walmart for all the supplies we needed. And a good distance to Helen and Blue Ridge. We really enjoyed the pool table and the indoor and outdoor fire pit! Highly recommend this cabin!

Such a beautiful mountain lodge!

Upon entry this was the cleanest VRBO I have ever seen! The accommodations were wonderful and the house was absolutely stunning. I 100% recommend this cabin for an escape from city life.

Bring toilet paper

Great place. Seen so many deer. For the price though there should have been more rolls of toilet paper than 3. And also if it was so important to bag trash there should have been more than on trash bag. But other than that. We had a great time. Would do it again.

The cabin was wonderful and the wildlife beautiful!

The cabin was just as described although the pool area was down for repair/maintenance. The deer were plentiful and came right up to the cabin several times a day everyday.

Will stay again

We loved this property. Ron and Sandy made everything as easy as possible. We literally got the see deer on the property all day long which my grandkids loved! The cabin is part of a gated community which was great. It is quiet and private and peaceful. Follow the directions they give you once you get to the gate because Google maps is not accurate. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the gas grill on the deck was perfect for my husband because it rained on and off everyday. It is worth getting the pool pass. There is even an indoor pool for when it rains or you don't want the kids to burn. We will absolutely stay at Buck Valley again!
