Maison de montagne située au bord de la rivière, dans la partie la plus large de la rivière Coosawattee à Ellijay. À l'intérieur de la station privée fermée, à environ 5 miles du centre-ville d'Ellijay, et à 15 minutes du centre-ville de Blue Ridge. Beaucoup de belle nature à apprécier, les sons de la rivière animée et roulante, ruisseau d'un côté de la maison. Beaucoup d'intimité. Bain à remous extérieur, charbon de bois et grils fumeurs.

Great cabin on the river

Perfect house for our family’s last minute getaway. Great views of the river and included everything we needed. The only negative was the large deposit required (almost 2x the rental fee) and the time to get that released, but this is more of a VRBO issue.

Beautiful house and location!

Awesome location right on the river! Very relaxing listening to the water. House was beautiful and nicely furnished. Kitchen was very well appointed with everything you could need. We very much enjoyed our stay!

It was so sweet to celebrate the new year in this scenic cabin with our closest family. It was the first time as newly weds to have both sides of the immediate family together and this space was perfect for hosting.

Beautiful location and relaxing family trip

Our family of four (kids ages 18 and 12) and two dogs had a wonderful, relaxing trip! The cabin is just beautiful and private, set right on the river. We spent the majority of our time by the fire pit (which is awesome), just enjoying the river view, watching deer and wildlife, listening to music and reading. Lots of hot tub time too! It was heavenly to sit out there in the hot tub with my Kindle and read with that beautiful view. We also loved the porches - especially the primary bedroom porch with the swing (perfection!). The downstairs game room is wonderful too, especially for older kids. We also absolutely loved the trail right outside the cabin alongside a creek. Our dogs are missing those daily walks! Wide, clear paths that were perfect for quick or long walks. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we brought groceries with us to make things easier. We cooked many meals and also went out for several dinners. The living room was great and we loved the comfy leather recliners and sofa - and used the fireplace daily. Everyone agreed the rooms and beds were comfy, and we had plenty of space and great bathrooms. The original artwork thought the cabin was also beautiful and something I personally enjoyed every day. We had a great time and a much needed “slow down” for our family. It was the perfect place for a break! We already miss the sounds and view of the river and hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful property with incredible views

Our family and in-laws visited during the week of Thanksgiving and had a fantastic stay. The home was well equipped with everything you could think of. The river is steps away and the views were unbeatable. The peaceful serene setting was the perfect way to spend a week with family. The hot tub was clean. The home is very convenient to Main Street, wineries, hikes, orchards, etc. Perfect place for families with children. Our 3 and 7 year old enjoyed the game room tremendously and spent hours at the waters edge skipping rocks. We found some trails right behind the property which our kids loved as well. We really enjoyed our visit.

Stunning location and very relaxing

My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend at this cabin!! The location was amazing with stunning views of the river & without having to take a thousand stairs to get down to the water. The kitchen was fully stocked to make any meal. The swinging bed was my favorite place to relax and the open air hot tub was the best hot tub we have ever enjoyed. Communication with the owner was clear and fast. We will definitely book again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

This cabin was perfect for our family. We love the location and the amenities offered. Jess was great to work with and was very accommodating. The only cons we had were we wish the cleaning would have been a little more thorough and to have the grass mowed. We had a little trouble at the guard shack when we first checked in, but this was at no fault to the property owner. We would definitely stay here again!

Family retreat

Relaxing at River Rock Mtn Chalet was wonderful.. Property is as described. Pictures are accurate, although in the summer months, there is much more greenery and grass. Wonderful location for tubing. Jessica was very helpful in telling us where we could park for easy tubing back to our cabin.This location offers easy access to step into the river. It was perfect for fishing and for our dog who loves to play in the water. Other places usually have a drop off embankment or lots of steps. This was easy access to the water. Cabin was nice and beds were comfortable. We loved the cushioned porch swings! (although porches themselves could use a good cleaning) Fire pit was perfect at night for smores (take the long metal roasting forks) Kitchen had all the things we needed to cook. We found that the hot tub would not heat, Jessica got someone out there ASAP. We definitely plan to return.

Christmas stay

The cabin was fantastic. We had everything we needed to prepare Christmas dinner for our family. The river outside the cabin is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. Thank you for allowing our family to have a home away from home in such a special occasion. We are planning our trip for next year!

Spacious, clean stay on the river

Despite multiple stays in Ellijay and at this resort, this was our first stay at this specific cabin, and it did not disappoint. Our whole family enjoyed how spacious and well stocked it was. But the best part was the location - a private spot right on the river. We spent a ton of time on the huge deck, in the hot tub, and by the river itself, with fall colors in peak season. We couldn’t successfully pull up much on Dish Network and it would be nice if the main level bathroom door locked properly, but those were minor concerns. We hope we can stay here again in the future.

Great weekend

Made the trip with out of town friends for a getaway. The stay was great and enjoyed the town. The apple festival was great fun and the drive to Biggins BBq was worthwhile. The property is directly on the river which was beautiful. The property grounds were a little treacherous though so be careful walking around.

Rodent Droppings

We found rodent droppings throughout the house. Host omitted that there had been an issue earlier that week. Host nor VRBO doesn’t see this as an issue. We didn’t stay. Left immediately. To date no refund has been offered. Host was very rude. Waiting on VRBO to determine financial restitution.

Family Fun

Our family had a wonderful time. The Coosawattee River is more spectacular than the pictures. Jessica Hanna was very attentive. She texted to make sure we had no questions before our trip, during, and after. The beds were comfortable. The river was steps away. I could sit on the front porch watching the grandchildren fishing with their parents. The sound of the river is so soothing. River Rock brings a family together and away from the busy day to day life.

Beautiful and peaceful get away

River Rock Chalet was the perfect place for our family. There was plenty of space to spread out, but still felt cozy. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were plenty of linens and towels. The porch swings were a great way to enjoy the beautiful views of the river. Jessica is a great host and communicated very quickly to any questions or concerns we had.
