„Small cottage was perfect for this solo traveler. Did encounter issues upon arrival, but most were all addressed the next day (TV/cable not working, no hot water in sinks, privacy glass in shower/tub scratched off & inadequate heating). Light blue & green decor was lovely with the beautiful wooden cathedral ceiling. Adequate supplies in cottage (full-sized fridge w/freezer, microwave, dishes, wine opener, coffee maker, iron and table ironing board). Felt comfortable & safe in the unit. Had it ...

„Beautiful property, perfect location“

„The Birch Retreat apartment accommodations were very nice as described. Great large shower, but not a full kitchenette (only sink is in bathroom) but owner added lots of accessories to make it easy to do basic things. The property (and one other adjacent Plum Retreat apartment that I know of) is connected to lovely & gorgeous new Secret Gardens with a new small shop & on-site events developed by the owner; the Birch apartment is a renovated part of the re-development of the former Green Gables ...

„Wir waren super zufrieden. Es roch sehr gut in den Zimmern und alles war sauber. Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse super.“

„The bathroom was very small. You could barely get into the bathroom and the door just barely clieared the toilet when opening it. The best were fairly comfortable, but again, not much space. For the money it was lacking.“

„For my point of view, Hotel is outdated and oldfashed.“

„Bed bugs“

„Everything was perfect. The rooms are clean, the stuff is very friendly, the owners are very helpful and nice. Expedia should do a better job informing the owners who would come and when. The owners knew we are coming but didn't have any way to communicate with us because Expedia didn't send them my phone or email. All was well when I called the owners and they realise it was us.“

„Our first time in Door County and this motel did not disappoint! We met the owner at check in and she was so friendly and answered all our questions. Our room overlooked the pool, firepit, and a beautiful wooded area. We did sit by the firepit at night and it was awesome. In the morning there is a lobby area where they served toast and such along with cereals and fruits. Plenty of hot coffee and tea. The room was very nice, clean, well stocked with towels and comfy beds and pillows. It was a ...

„Perfekte Lage direkt am eigenen Strand mit schöner Veranda und Garten zum Sitzen. Zimmer war sehr sauber, Bett top, Bad neu renoviert. Wir hatten ein kleines Buchungsproblem und wären beinahe nicht untergekommen, aber die Dame an der Rezeption hat mit Hilfe der Managerin ein Zusatzbett aufgetrieben. Wir waren absolut begeistert über dieses unkonventionelle Entgegenkommen! Wir würden unbedingt wiederkommen!“

„The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the location is perfect, just a short distance from Peninsula Park, and the room was spotless. We had a wonderful experience!“

„Clean room nice staff“
