« Very clean and cozy. There were plenty of activities both inside and out to keep us occupied.Kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to cook whatever we brought with us. Spices, coffees and teas were readily available. Children really enjoyed the kayaks, puzzles, loft and bunkhouse. »

« Our family traveled to the area for a last minute swim meet. Having not made plans to be traveling, we were unsure of what options we'd have - but the cabin was perfect for a last minute overnight stay. We all slept well, and were able to enjoy the cabin for the brief time we were there. Significantly more space, and much more affordable, than hotel options in the area the same night. A great find and fit for us! »

« This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun...

« Lou-Anne and Rick are the cream of the crop as hosts. Lou-Anne came right over to fix my wi-fi connection. We had a good conversation, too, about the history of the cabin. It is small but adorable! Not too much Maine decor, just right, cleverly displayed. The owners have made their cabin fully functional even in tight places. Very comfortable and attractive. « We had a wonderful stay during school vacation week. We planned to ski all week, but weather had other plans and closed all the lifts, so we had a lot of extra time at the house. We lost electricity and they were out within 45 minutes to hook up the generator for us. Owner/Mgmt company was super responsive to any messages sent. « Very clean and well decorated cabin. Well supplied with cooking equipment and dinnerware, utensils, etc, including gas grill, charcoal grill and fire pit.Big yard for children and pets. Great location for exploring nearby hiking trails, swimming beach, fishing, hunting, etc. »

« This was our first time in Maine. We wanted a cabin on the lake and this was exactly that. Beautiful morning views. Great place to take in the beauty and relax. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Thank you Pam and Larry for being wonderful hosts. »

« The 4 of us stayed here together for a weekend reunion. Very comfortable and well equipped and clean. Lots of towels. Great porch and beach. Only wish we had WIFI. »

« Check-in, check-out, all communication with the owner was A. Great place for some quiet peaceful camping/glamping. Plenty to do, swim, kayak, fish, hike around the island, or just relax…it’s very peaceful and quiet. Kitchen facilities are great. Mind you its a camping kitchen, but grill, propane, utensils, plates, pots pans, everything you would need is provided…except for the food. Cabin was comfortable and clean, plenty of room. « I had an enjoyable stay at this nicely appointed lakeside cabin. As a fisherman it was great to have my boat on the dock just steps way from the porch door. The cabin was immaculate with updated kitchen appliances. I particularly enjoyed evenings around the fire pit watching the boats maneuvering around the marina. »
