« We had a wonderful family reunion and found the property to meet our needs and to be exactly as pictured and described. We appreciated the privacy and the views as well as being close to Pierre and Ft Pierre to visit the state capital and see places from when our family lived there. We spent Sunday on the water on a rented pontoon boat from Fun Time Rentals and had a blast. The hosts were very responsive before during and after our extended weekend. We even saw some wildlife running around...

« Overall, our stay was great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The outdoor space was lovely. We especially enjoyed all of the bird watching with all of the feeders and natural habitats (one member of our party even saw one of her "life birds" so that made even more special). »

« Stayed for fishing tournament. Very close to spring creek and not to far from town ! Nice place and neighborhood. The garage for parking boat or vehicle was really nice . »

« Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site. »

« Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. Nice place with an even nicer...
