« This was our 2nd stay in this fantastic house! This time there was a snow storm. During that time the drive was cleared twice, sidewalks cleaned and the owner asked if we needed anything at all. Wonderful hosts. The house is spotless and very comfortable. Plenty of kitchen ware, blankets, towels, games, etc. We would all definitely stay again! »

« Out of half a dozen or so cabin rentals, this one is the absolute best. It's clean, uncluttered, quiet, and huge! Water was hot, heater worked really well (it was a very cold week) and the kitchen worked well. Beds were comfy too. I can't say enough good things about this place! »

« This is a great location! Easy to get to downtown Galena in a few minutes. Country place without being too secluded. Very quiet neighbors. Residents were very cheerful and welcoming. Nice to have beautiful views and only a short drive to downtown Galena or Dubuque where there is more to do if you have kids staying or for a movie or dinner. Club where the pool is located is a very nice place. I would stay and this location again! »

« The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. I definitely recommend this property for anyone who loves being close to the water. It is nice to be just over the bridge from Dubuque and the location is...
