« Staff-helpful from the moment of arrival. Room had everything we needed. »

« The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays. Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous...

« Wonderful staff with easy check-in/out. Enjoyed the evening wine and cheese along with late night cookies and hot drinks. Coffe available right outside the room at 7:30. Short, 10-15 minute, walk to shopping and restaurants. Great stay! »

« This is a great location! Easy to get to downtown Galena in a few minutes. Country place without being too secluded. Very quiet neighbors. Residents were very cheerful and welcoming. Nice to have beautiful views and only a short drive to downtown Galena or Dubuque where there is more to do if you have kids staying or for a movie or dinner. Club where the pool is located is a very nice place. I would stay and this location again! »
