« This house is a terrific location for having LOTS of outdoor adventures! So close to Crater Lake, plus various hiking and kayaking areas. It was only about 1.5 hours to the Lava Beds NM, so we took a day trip down there, as well. « Checking in was a breeze and the home was just as described, the perfect getaway for family and friends. Maple parking and more than enough space for the whole family. We weren't able to have a campfire due to the fire season but we were still able to make memories at Crescent lake on the sandy beaches. Wonderful hosts and very quick responses. Will definitely stay here again. »

« The cabin was amazing! Very cool log cabin vibe with all of the decorations to make you feel like you're roughing it in the woods but with all the modern convenience to make it comfortable. The outdoor bathtub and grilling area were standouts. The cabin actually does have AC even though the listing says it doesn't so that was a relief for a summer getaway. « When booking make sure you pick the River Lodge - a lot of the properties have similar names. I was so afraid it would be noisy but I’m convinced the people reporting noise were at a different location. I stayed at the River Lodge on a busy weekend in August and it was super quiet & tranquil. On Friday night I did hear some music coming from the nearby Mt Bachelor lawn but it was done by 10pm (& luckily I actually liked their playlist so it worked out).
