« I called the office 2 days before hand to let them know we'd be coming in late. That worked well. The host greeted us. We loved the full kitchen and shower. It was a cool small house and very quiet. The school house next to it was neat to see. They also have a camp store which was unexpected. Will stay again for sure. »

« Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site. »

« Overall I liked it. It’s private and has plenty of space to park our pickup and boat. Very close to the boat dock and a nice restaurant.It can get windy there, but pretty normal for that area. I would like to see a little more seating inside such as another chair or couch, and possibly a TV, although we were fine without it. Overall a cool place to stay. »

« Property was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access and plenty of parking. Host Kevin was very accommodating and communication was outstanding. Very nice updates to home which worked great for our group in town for a weekend golf tournament. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for home in Pierre. »

« Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. Nice place with an even nicer...

« The host is amazing to work with, very friendly and accommodating. Nice place to stay. The bonus -- being pet friendly with a fenced in back yard. Definitely, re-booking for next year's hunting trip. »
