„It was amazing, the garden rooms are a hidden gem! The design of the room and bathroom were beautiful huge room. The hot tub was a great added touch! I was very thankful for the soya / oat milk in the fridge for us too. The little path to the joiners arms could have been lite a little better from the road to the static caravans but the pub was great also, food was delicious and breakfast was fantastic, great options. „Absolutely amazing stay, everything we needed and more. “

„The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.“

„Essen ,Übernachtung und Service waren gut und sehr angenehm.Wir befürchteten zunächst Lärm von der nahen Straße, haben davon aber nachts nichts gehört.“

The Hygge itself was spot on, well maintained and very clean. We found it to be a very comfortable and practical place to stay. „We really enjoyed our days by the sea and in this house and can highly recommend it! The house is well and carefully furnished (very nice bed linen), large windows with a beautiful view of the bay and seating outside in the garden. It is in a very quiet location in a relaxed environment. There is a lovely café within walking distance right by the bay. The house also offers plenty of space.“

„Beautiful place in a peaceful village. The cottage was 5 stars. We loved staying in the cottage, everything there for us, couldn't have asked for more. Our dog loved the garden and so did we, so peaceful to sit and listen to the bird's. Tjete is just one little thing, the cottage is not accessible by car, we had to carry everything down a narrow lane to the cottage which was a little disappointing as i have a curvature of the spine and not very mobile, i think this needs to be brought to ...

„Ein sehr schönes Haus mitten in der Stadt. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge und Wanderungen in den nahen Nationalpark.“

„Although parking is tricky the facilities at the cottage were fine. It's right opposite two pubs which didn't cause any disruption. On the whole a good place to stay, it's about one minute from the sea.“

„The Counting House had everything we (family of 4) were looking for - enough space for everyone, clean, well equipped and some lovely personal touches. The location on the Market Square in Belford was perfect for the 20m sprint to the Black Swan and the only slightly longer trip to the Coop. Despite this we can't confirm the mentions of traffic noise in some reviews - the occasional bus really doesn't count in our book! Belford itself is also a great base both for the coast and inland. „This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend.“

„Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months.“

„Had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights here with my partner and 3 daughters. A great place to get away and spend some quality time. It feels very remote but at the same time is close enough to drive or jump the train into Newcastle for the day. It was great sitting around the firepit in the evening after a soak in the hot tub! Plenty here for the whole family we would definitely stay again. “

"Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem, hilfsbereitem Personal. Unser Zimmer war sehr gross und super ausgestattet mit neu renoviertem Bad in gutem Zustand. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Hotel hat einen tollen Garten mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und einer schönen Aussicht auf die Brücke und den Fluss. Das Restaurant hat eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und wir haben sehr lecker gegessen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden."
