„Wonderful vacation spot. The apartment was large, clean, close to the lake. Perfect spot to walk around the lake, walk to shops and restaurants and coffee spots. Right across from Olympic rinks and museum. The kitchen was well stocked and having access to laundry room was great. Driving to hiking trailheads was easy and quick from this location “

„Amazing 3-night stay! The A-frame is perfect- decorated beautifully and so cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. Mornings and evenings by the fire were wonderfully relaxing and there is nothing like an outdoor shower. It’s also perfectly situated between Keene Valley (which will always have my heart) and Lake Placid (and my favorite stretch of route 73 by Upper and Lower Cascade Lakes). „We’ve stayed at a variety of places in the Adirondacks, and this was one of our favorites. Spacious, well appointed house, plenty of watercraft to keep our boys busy, a spectacular view from the covered front porch, and dog friendly, which we really appreciate. Jonathan took us out on the boat twice during the week. Considering that renting a boat for just half a day at the closest marina 350 or more, this is an incredible deal and benefit to staying at this location. We grilled and ate outside ...

"Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."
