« The location was great, with a lot of restaurants, stores, and amenities within walking distance. The room was perfect. With a lot of attention to cleanliness, style, and ambience. it was like a 50s time capsule. The hosts were timely in communication and highly responsive. I had a wonderful stay. Will be back again. »

« What a wonderful property! 3 levels with a bedroom and full bath on each level. Was perfect for 3 couples for a getaway weekend. We came for Crush Fest at Yonah Mountain Winery. This property makes you feel like you’re away from everything but very convenient to Yonah Mountain, Serenity Cellars, and The Jumping Goat. The property is just as described and host incredibly responsive. We felt right at home during our stay. We saw deer from the back porch both mornings while enjoying our coffee! »

« The property owner is awesome to communicate with and willing to answer any questions you many have. The little bungalow is so beautiful and clean. We have stayed in many different places in Helen, but this one will be our place for now on. The cozy feeling of home away from home just made our stay perfect. »

« The property was great, excellent location. Close and convenient to town whether walking or driving. Enjoyed our time outside, tubing down the river and stopping "at home" on the way down or just watching others flow by, played corn hole, had a fire and s'mores, cooked and dined outside, relaxed on the swing and read, watched TV outside, etc. We only had a couple of items that could be improved on. There was only one hair dryer that was on the wall in one of the bathrooms, none in the bathroom...

« Great town. Lovely cabin, but be prepared to walk up and down steep hill & driveway. Recommend having a 4x4 vehicle that doesnt sit low to the ground in order to successfully make it up into the driveway. Other than that, everything was beautiful!! »

« We had a lovely time at Honey Bear Hideaway, the location is excellent for tourists. We enjoyed the home immensely was nice, big, and best of all we were able to travel with our Huskies. This was just what we needed for a relaxing vacation. »

« Just as described. Clean and great location to downtown Helen, you can easily walk into town. A couple of things to keep in mind is that it very much puts you in mind if a hotel room but without room service. What I mean is there are no extras…no extra towels, toilet paper ect. We had 4 people and 6 towels. As we were very active during this trip I would have liked to switch towels out halfway but there were not enough for us to all have a clean one.
