« This is a great property, and the hosts are extremely responsive. The property has recently been renovated, so everything is new. However, the pictures for the listing have not been updated. Differences to know are that there is only a 3 seat couch in the living room; there are no side chairs. Also, one of the bedrooms upstairs now has bunk beds, with a double bed for the bottom and a twin for the top. It worked for us, but it is different from the pictures. « We had a lovely experience at the Great Escape! The home was lovely, quaint, and cozy. It was clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Kitchen was fully equipped with a wide variety of cooking utensils and equipment. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed using the fire pit and hammock. « This place is AMAZING! Loved being in the woods and a bonus at the end of the road . The hot tub was all set when we arrived . Plenty of towels ! Kitchen was well stocked , even with an air fryer !!! Would definitely stay again if back in the area !!! »

« My niece and i live 5 hours apart so we decided to meet halfway in Mentone to visit before she moved to Maryland. Easy directions, great location, short distance to Mentone and Desoto State Park. We loved the cabin! Very beautifully decorated and stocked with everything needed. The bed and couch were very comfortable for sleeping, plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. « We had a great stay overall! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was convenient, and communication with the host was easy. Our only minor complaint was that the pool shown in the booking is actually about a 30-minute drive from the property, which was a little unexpected.
