« This home is beautiful and conveniently located near places to shop and eat. The host was great and very responsive. I reached out multiple times during our stay and she was very helpful and kind. The home is very spacious and very well decorated! It was also very clean. One thing to note is the pictures of the bedrooms are misleading. The grounds are lush with large trees, flowering bushes, ferns and more. The fences dog yard was perfect! « We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, had a beautiful view, and was so peaceful and quiet. It accommodated our family of five comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with the basics needed to prepare simple meals. « Our overall impression of this place can be summed up in two words; absolutely amazing! These mountain retreats are a retreat in so many ways. The views are spectacular. I’m not a morning person, but I set the alarm for a little before sunrise and was not disappointed. We did beautiful time lapsed videos both days and it is almost surreal knowing you are just a few miles from Saluda, and yet you feel you’re being given your personal view to the calm and awe inspiring sunrise. « How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place....
