„My family had a wonderful time at Before the Bend! It was such a beautiful house. I appreciated how clean everything was, the comfortable beds, and gorgeous design. We loved playing in the river, enjoying coffee on the screened in back porch, and roasting hot dogs and s’mores at the fire pit! Perfect setting for a lovely getaway - thank you so much! “

„It was better than we could imagine…beautiful property…wonderful pool and the biggest hot tub I have ever seen!!! The decor i side was wonderful!!! Wish I had the talent to decorate my home like this!!! Only thing I want to mention (and it is a small thing) is it would have been nice to have a hair dryer in one of the bathrooms…if there was one, I apologize, but I could not find one…we are looking forward to booking this cabin again next year!!“

„The host was phenomenal. The house is absolutely amazing and better than advertised. Everything was clean and beds slept wonderfully. Plenty of space and everything is set up perfectly. Indoor and outdoor space with plenty of comfortable seating was great. Bathrooms were spacious and spotless. Loved it!!!!“

„We had such a great time staying at this rental. It was spotless and beautiful! It felt like we were staying in a fairy tale. The road back to the rental is about a mile through the woods on a hilly dirt/gravel road. I would suggest taking a 4-wheel drive. We made it in our Hyundai Tuscon but it rained very hard our last night and we barely made it out the next morning. It was a nerve wracking experience to say the least.Other than that our stay was wonderful!“

„We enjoyed our visit! The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The ping pong table provided friendly competition too! We paid a fee two days in a row to enjoy the pool and lake because there was so much to do. Highly recommend!“

„My realtor said get out of my home for the weekend showings, so I did. This is where I landed. The place was exactly as you see in the pictures. Welcoming, bright & freshly decorated. I was a bit apprehensive from a few of the reviews I’d read. Let me say there were no bugs in this flat. The house does have a very steep terrain in the back a bit, but nothing that could not be walked from the car to the unit in the back where we stayed. The hubs is in dementia & unsteady on his feet. „It was a relaxing stay and everything was as described. The roads were very steep and curvey but with some concentration and slow driving they were manageable. I would be hesitant to drive them in the dark. Our first night there we were visited by a black bear in the back yard. We admired him from afar and he didn’t seem to mind us. We also saw several deer. Communication with the owner/ management company was great. Any questions were answered very quickly. I would definitely book again. “

The lake access was great for the boys to fish, kayak and a peaceful place for morning coffee. I highly recommend staying all around great experience. “
