„We really enjoyed our stay! The Cottage has all u need and a sensational view from the house and the garden. The host responds fast to any question. “

„Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)“

„What a great find, 26 Harbour Street is just around the bay from the Plockton Hotel, so a good bar and restaurant was only 2 minutes walk away! The house was lovely, well furnished, a lovely Aga kept the house warm. All the bedrooms were well appointed and all 3 bathrooms were of a similar standard. We had our 2 dogs with us and the boot room was ideal for keeping them contained after walks. I was a little reluctant to write this review because I would rather keep this little gem to myself - ...

„From our arrival through to our departure, The Birdhouse surpassed our expectations. It's beautifully designed and it's in an amazing location. Kristen and Gregor are perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. There are lots of stunning walks and scenery to explore in Applecross Bay. I highly recommend a stay and hope to return to The Birdhouse one day. “

"Das Bett ist winzig, die Matratze durchgelegen. Außerdem ist das Zimmer für ein Deluxe Zimmer sehr klein. Dafür war das Bad nagelneu, gute Dusche, nur leider überhaupt keine Ablagemöglichkeit im gesamten Bad. Personal außerordentlich freundlich. "

"Beautiful big room, with sea view. Table and chairs in front of the window so you could drink tea and read and look out to rhe beach and sea. Just awesome. Very nice 4 poster bed. Very feiendly and helpful staff and really good service. Good food and drinks too. On tuesdays there is always a piper playing and live music, just lovely. We could also give our clothes to be wached and I orderd something by post as well and the hotel received it for me. The landscape surrounding the hotel is just breathtaking. And so much to do: golf, hiking, whale watching etc. We enjoyed it so much."
