We loved stay. It was nice and clean, had a very, very nice view. The only thing is that we thought there was a washer and dryer in it and we didn’t realize till we got there that the washer and dryer was shared with other people in the building wasn’t bad we misread or misunderstood the listing. We loved pool. It was nice that it was heated because it was still a little chilly in Galveston.

Great view

Everyone was so friendly and it was definitely pet friendly. Was able to walk across the street to the ocean which was very convenient! The resort pool was amazing and my youngest had a blast! It was perfect for my family.

Condo was clean. Location is in back of the complex. Complex is in need of sprucing up. Definitely shows its age. Queen bed was horribly uncomfortable as was bedding. Rail on balcony was loose and made us uneasy about our children being near it.The condo is fine if you don’t intend to spend much time in it. Nothing fancy. Check-in and dealing with management was easy.Be aware there are additional complex amenity fees that include parking as well.

Everything we needed & great location

Multiple visits to the Maravilla Condos and always happy. The location is perfect as it's directly across the street from the beach. The heated pool is our favorite. The grounds are clean and spacious, and the condos have a lot packed into their space. The condo was clean and well equipped. The office staff for parking passes and pool bands are friendly and helpful. No complaints.

Great Beach Get-a-Way

We loved our stay at this property!!! There was plenty of space for us, our dog and our 4 kids ages 17, 15, 11, 7. Things we especially loved: Great use of space in the condo - 2 full bathrooms was a huge plus! Ocean views that we enjoyed from the spacious patio! Well appointed kitchen…minus a can opener, but we bought one and left it for future renters. Great pool area - we enjoyed grilling hotdogs by the pool one evening. Pet friendly! Great location! Things to be aware of: The condo itself and the pool area was great, but the complex is undergoing some repairs so you see scaffolding when you first turn in. Parking is $10 per car, per day, but it is a nice, covered parking garage. This unit is on the 3rd floor. The elevators closest to the unit kept going out. There was another elevator further away, but it stayed fairly busy due to the other one not working. The refrigerator in this unit had a terrible fishy smell. I think owners are aware, because there was baking soda inside, but it was pretty bad. We opened the fridge as little as possible…this was our only true complaint…I’d advise you to bring bleach :) Overall, we loved our stay at Beach Therapy Maravilla, and would definitely stay here again!

Great Condo and Great View

The Condo was really nice. Just perfect for 3 adults and 1 child- and could easily fit a few more kiddos with the bunk beds. Everything was super clean. Nothing over the top but we did find a toaster, cups and bowls. I love that the fridge has an ice maker (minimal ice for a weekend but for a longer stay would’ve made plenty). Check in was easy. The condo has a great view and is right off the elevator and stairs. The property is nice - dog friendly and I love that it had a dog wash station where I could soap up and rinse my pup. Just bring mosquito spray. They started attacking at night- literally.

Nice with issues

Marivilla complex is under construction, so the first look is not so pleasant. However, our condo Beach Therapy was ok. Nice view, wonderful balcony and nice kitchen. Things that need the owner’s attention: Master shower: someone is going to get hurt by falling unless the shower door situation is remedied. Second bedroom: Needs a new mattress! Our family ended up sleeping in the bunks in the hallway due to the condition of the mattress. Numerous lights either did not work or needed new light bulbs (in the living room and hallway) Not sure how hot water tanks work in the complex, but we did not have hot water the last day there. Quirky thing about the elevator we had to use to get to our condo on the 3rd floor. It will go to the 3rd floor if someone is in it, but if you want to go down you have to walk to the second floor and then bring it up to the 3rd floor.

We had a great stay with wonderful views

Our stay was wonderful thanks to the wonderful management at My Galveston Getaways. We had a hickup due to fire alarm in the complex being pulled and called management and they moved us to a different location so we could get some sleep. They personally came out the next morning too make sure everything was under control and personally called us to apologize, even though it wasn't their fault at all. We'll definitely be booking through My Galveston Getaways next time. The view from the balcony was beautiful, overlooking a pond and the Gulf. The room was just as pictured and the beds were comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Nice condo, nice view.

Condo was nice and spacious for our group. Good view too from the rooms and balcony, owner should add a photo of the view as it was not in the ad we saw. Pleasantly surprised by the view of the lagoon and gulf. New pillows would be nice. But great stay.

We had some issues with the property ie: toilets in both bathrooms not working well, power was out in 2nd bedroom and bunkbed area. The elevator stopped working on the dirst day, and we received 2 parking violation tickets that were not valid. We were able to EASILY get in touch with the condo management, no complaints there. We would stay again for a short trip.

Had a Great Time!

We enjoyed our time! Perfectly located between the mainland and Jamaica Beach (where we spent most of our time). The full kitchen was great for breakfast and lunch prep and the local dining options were awesome (and I’m gluten free - try BLVD if you are, too). Things that were out of the owners control that decreased the experience: the elevator frequently was inoperable and the dial codes for the pool rarely worked (front office was notified) and pet owners wouldn’t pick up their pet waste. I have young children and they enjoyed the bunks. The smart TV’s were very convenient. Overall, a very comfortable place that provided a nice launch pad for our activities. When/if we head back to Galveston we will absolutely look to see if this spot is available. Thanks for being great hosts!

Very nice condo

This was a great condo, very clean looks just like the pictures, its a little smaller then anticipated. But worked out for our big family. We weren't the biggest fans of the area to be honest, but the condo and pool here was amazing! Just bring your own pool/beach towels. Our past condo stays have had those so I didn't pack any and got bit in the butt by it. I should have looked harder to see if that was mentioned in the info for the condo, I'm not sure if it was or not, but this can be your heads up. I would highly recommend this condo if you know you like this area.

We had a great time at this condo. The condo was clean and the hosts responded within minutes of inquiries. I read a review about the sheets so we were hoping that by the time we got there, there would be new sheets, but no—our biggest issue was that the sheets are too small, every night the sheets came up on each of the beds that people were sleeping in. There is also a chair that is broken. Other VRBOs we’ve stayed at had a few amenities like salt & pepper, and hand soap in the bathrooms. This did not have those things. The condo area is older and in need of repairs, the elevator regularly was out of order and grandma didn’t do so good with it being on the third floor. The pools were super clean and the perfect temperature. We also loved that the area is about 7-9 minutes away from all the crazy traffic and people. It was truly peaceful and the views were great. We definitely will go back. If grandma goes we might try to find a place on the first floor.
