The decor in the place is really nice & the hosts do not skimp out on supplies such as toilet paper & hand soap. The kitchen appliances were high end & it was very well stocked. They had a ton of board games & Netflix available for guests. There are plenty of water toys (kayaks, canoe, paddle boards) to make use of. The assorted life jackets came in handy for us as well. There were a few downsides though:* the water was not drinkable (since it is well water) and it had quite a putrid smell to it. This was not mentioned in the listing details.* the lake was very weedy, rocky & had some garbage thrown in it too. We certainly didn't want to swim in it.* there was no "sandy beach" as stated in the listing details.* garbage had to be taken back which would mean additional charge to dispose of. This was not mentioned on the listing details as well. We were unable to take our garbage but Vivian was gracious enough to not charge us for it.The temperature never dropped below 24C in the cottage &, at one point, with the weather being really humid, it went up to 26.5C - even with all the fans running, it did become a bit uncomfortable.Overall, we had a good time & would recommend it, as long as you come with clear expectations of the lake.
