« We very much enjoyed our 2 short stays at the river life cabin. The cabin is very well stocked with just about everything you could need during your stay, that was extremely helpful for us as we had to pack lightly for our trip. The addition of the pavilion over the picnic tables was amazing. The property grounds are beautiful, and I can't say enough about how accommodating the hosts were. I highly recommend and will be booking here for future trips! »

« Spotless clean and very serine. Everything you need in a thoughtfully designed cabin. Even firewood for purchase on the property. Making a fun night super convenient Although you have everything you need to cook, there are also a few great restaurants not far away. The small hiking path on property was, darling. We enjoyed hearing the river and reading all of the fun signs. Our hosts were kind and we are sure to return again and again. »

« The house was adorable and clean, and the host was responsive and kind. Kitchen had everything we needed. My only caution would be that this house is definitely more for families/groups who won’t be spending a lot of time indoors. While there were plenty of comfy sleeping spaces, there wasn’t adequate seating for 6 of us to comfortably watch a movie in the evening. Besides that

« Loved everything about this place. Something for all of us (me, my wife, two boys (8 & 12). Herkimer Diamond Mines about 30 minutes away. Had a blast. West Canada Creek for fishing and the cabin was perfect, nice porch to drink coffee on in the morning and a fire pit in the evening. »

« First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure! »
