„Our host Lucy was most welcoming and helpful. Short walk into downtown Stratford. The property was extremely clean. I would say the room was small but the wonderful breakfast (the best we have had in our 2 and a half week stay in 7 different hotels in England) made up for that! The breakfast room was a cheery way to start the day too! Highly recommend!“

„Tolles Hotel in perfekter Lage. Die Zimmer sind perfekt ausgestattet und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Service ist freundlich und das Restaurant sehr urig mit viel Geschichte. “
„Service impeccable. Bill was such a lovely host. So helpful and passionate about letting us know what to do in the area. Offered us home made biscuits and coffee when we arrived, even though we were a bit early. The room was large and clean with a nice bathroom and coffee/tea in the room too. Breakfast was wonderful also. A short walk into town, maybe 15 minutes if that. Would highly recommend this to anyone. “

„The buildings are old and floors are a bit creaky, but the rooms were a good size, clean, very convenient and well-located just across the street from thr RSC Theater and an easy walk to all the Stratford-upon-Avon tourist sites and shopping. There's also a private parking lot. The breakfast is also very good. This is our 2nd time staying here for a visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace. “

„Das Zimmer war sauber, ruhig und gut eingerichtet, das Bad sehr modern. Die Lage kann nicht besser sein, direkt im Zentrum. Der „Chef“ ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

„The internet was fine. We had a room that could have been cleaned a bit more and the glasses in the bathroom had toothpaste in one of them. The staff was easy going, easy to talk to. The atmosphere was relaxed, we enjoyed it very much. Our bed was not made the day after our first night either. But we were out all day, therefore it was not an issue.“

„Studio 1 has enough space for three people and you get all the necessary information you need before arriving at the house (Keys, how to get there, etc). It was very easy to get there from the train station and you can easily reach every Shakespeare-related sight by foot . The beds and the sleeping sofa are very comfortable as well. However, the heater in the bathroom seems to be dependent on outside temperature because sometimes it is not turned on. Also, if multiple people want to go to ...

„House was better than expected for a 600 year old building. Loved the courtyard outside and downstairs lounge area with all mod cons. Had trouble with the door in that it locks when shut and key was inside - had to call a locksmith! Maybe you can look at changing the type of lock so this does not happen to others.“
„Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll.
Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead.
