„What a fantastic discovery! The cottage was impeccably clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The lovely front patio provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views while watching the sunset. We had no issues parking the car outside the property, and the communication with the owner, Meryl, was excellent. We would definitely love to return!“

„Property was spot on. The owners provided use of the garage opposite which was more than enough room to store our 3 motorbikes. The property was lovely, quant and had everything we could need for our 3 day motorbike tour of Wales. There we could walk to a very nice pub and shop in Gilwern which took only about 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely quiet cottage around the Brecons. “

Helen was lovely welcoming us, and was very helpful with any queries we had.The cottage was lovely with stunning views of the country, and the pretty garden was large and secure for our dogs to wander around.Location wise, it was only a short drive to Chepstow. Usk, not too far away, is a very pretty town with lovely pub/restaurants. „We had a great family weekend away. The house is lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Its run by the pub next door and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good location for shops if you run out of supplies. BBQ could do with a good clean as too dirty and rusty to use. Stairs very narrow and windy so not suitable for people with limited mobility.“

„Three generations get-together to celebrate Christmas at last! All bedrooms ensuite were good, loads of logs supplied for wonderful logburner, AGA cooking in this old farmhouse. Hot tub was fun. Right on the famous Offa's trail for walkers and explorers. It was great to have free run of the farm - the littl'uns loved the tractor and the sheep. Mind your heads on the low beamed doors. It's a homely place to stay, well kitted out and obviously much-loved.“

The setting is wonderful and there is plenty of access to great local pubs, restaurants, shops in Monmouth while you can retreat to your own little cottage far from the noisy world.
