The house and location are great! We had a really good time hanging out by the creek and were close enough to town to grab anything we needed during our stay.

Enjoyed the cabin with all the entertainment and proximity to shooting creek. Had a great weekend with my brothers! We will definitely be going back for another trip. We had a great time!

The description did not allude that the two downstairs bedrooms were not accessible through the main house. The yards needing attention otherwise we enjoyed our stay and loved sitting listening to the water running by from the porch.

Now that our three sons are grown and out of the home, we plan a family weekend every fall where we can all be together. This home was perfect for us. Each couple had their own bedroom, the deck was great for us to hang out and visit, the hot tub was a big hit as well as the game room, and the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep.

This was a very enjoyable stay. The hot tub by the running river was very relaxing. Furnishing and bed were very decorative and comfortable and everything we needed was provided within the cabin. Thank you!

Peace and quiet

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin . We spent many days floating in the creek and enjoying the peaceful sounds . The cabin itself is very nice and the management was easy to communicate with ! I would definitely stay again !!

GREAT STAY! It was a little bumpy to start getting checked in but after that, it was all good. We were late getting checked in due to it taking a little more time to clean from past guest, but was told we would be credited back the cleaning fee. Thats fair, then there was some issues with the internet service at the house, but that was quickly resolved. The house was very nice, and we enjoyed the game room down stairs. We also enjoyed the Creek behind the house. The refreshing temperature of the water is all you need in the summer months. Then we enjoy the jacuzzi as well. We did not get lucky enough to catch any trout out of the Creek, but we heard they are in there. Plenty of great hiking, fishing, and boating within minutes to an hour, depending on where you go. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The cabin was clean and welcoming on the inside. The cabin’s grounds needed care! Looked like the yard had not been mowed in a month or 2. All the bed mattresses are old and worn out. The master bathroom does not have a shower like listed. The only shower on the upper level is in the hall bathroom. The cabin’s location is close to Hayesville NC and Hiawassee GA. That was very nice and convenient. We enjoyed the creek, but the hot tube was loud and we couldn’t hear the wonderful sounds of the water.The 2 lower level bedrooms are only accessible on the outside, no interior stairs. There is only one HVAC unit so the basement level was freezing. Might be nice for some, but our guest were cold. Communication with the host was pleasant and helpful. Overall the cabin was ok for a little getaway.

Tranquil!!

Hats off to Mr. Fitz this was one of the best stays that I've had in a long time. The cabin was amazing it was very quiet and relaxing. It was everything that I was looking for perfect location for fishing and shopping for me with access to stores and activities. I would definitely stay again!! Thanks again for a great Birthday weekend Mr. Fitz...

Great family getaway

Great property. Upstairs was perfect for family time and downstairs for the younger adults who wanted to stay up late playing pool. Would have liked two extra high top chairs for dining table to seat all 6 of us.

Perfect weekend getaway

The home was beautiful and very clean. The view from the deck was amazing. Was very peaceful sitting in the hot tub, listening to the creek. The ow ers answered all questions promptly.

A few Issues that Fitz (Richard) went to the extreme to make them right . He was very accommodating. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi and sound of the creek.The hummingbirds on the balcony was very active.

Property has perfect setting and view. All the immenties. Just need to pack your clothes, everything was there. Absolutely beautiful and perfect, couldn't have asked for more.

Beautiful Setting

We had a relaxing week, the weather was perfect and the cabin was spacious with an amazing view. The cabin was clean, exactly as described & my 5 year old grandson let us know, as he climbed into the hot tub, that “He could get used to this.” The family had a great time in the game room, enjoyed the music amazing gazebo swing, & cooled off in the river. I would love to go back in the fall.

Relaxing vacation

We had a great stay. The water access was so nice. The kids and I went on several walks in the stream and had a great time. Fishing from just out back was fun and there was a local fishing spot (Shooting Creek) just about 5 minutes from the house. The hot tub was nice and relaxing at the end of the day. There is no cellphone service but the WiFi signal was perfect. Overall, great stay.

Great cabin! Even nicer than the photos!

A great cabin for a couple or couple with kids! Easy to find, very well appointed and cozy, and all the amenities you need for a getaway. The cabin is even nicer than the photos appear! We enjoyed warming up in the hot tub and listening to the river. If you're going in the winter, make sure you have a proper 4-wheel-drive vehicle if the weather is bad as the driveway is very steep.

It was a great stay.Pros: Very comfortable house with a super easy check in and out. Host was great. The 4 bedrooms had a great selection of mattresses, from soft to firm to memory foam. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Porch had plenty of seating to enjoy my morning coffee and listen to the creek. Great hot tub. Inner tubes, corn hole, and horse shoes were included but it rained most of our stay so we didn't get to use them. There was plenty of indoor games and activities. Cons: you have to go outside to get to the downstairs apartment, only poses an issue when it's storming because you'll get soaked. Light switches were a little confusing at first. The light in the master bedroom could only be controlled with the pull cord on the fan which was hard for me to reach without climbing on the bed. The outdoor gazebo and glider was very nice, but the roof needs some attention. Overall it was definitely a great stay, centrally located so we could visit all of our favorite spots. Beautiful Location!

We had a slight hiccup with the HVAC when we arrived and it was very cold in the house, but I only mention it to brag on the owners for their hospitality and the way they handled the situation. They went above and beyond to make things right and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and the deck overlooking the creek is spectacular! We will be back!
