„Contracted property earlier in the afternoon to request a early check-in as weather was bad, left a message but no-one got back to me. Eventually braved the rain and went to the property, no reply when I rang the bell. Looked on-line for possible other contact number to see that the property was closed. As the town was busy that weekend there was no affordable places for me and my daughter to stay so the only option we had was to head to train station and buy tickets to return to Newcastle. „The place itself was immaculate. However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. We waited for over an hour and half for dinner and there was no advice on things to do on activities.“

„Beautiful room. Wouldn’t recommend parking as there isn’t anywhere. The location is right near the bus stop and can hear it all night and loud bangs from very early the morning. The bed was comfortable.“

„The table was chipped and scratched. And I had to pay an extra £40 on top of my booking price for the standard after stay cleaning. Had to message the property to ask for check in information. Could hear the road from the room as well as everyone leaving and entering through the front door. Will not be staying here again“

„Almost everything about this stay was excellent. I would say that some of the interior is in need of maintenance (sagging floors) and one bathroom was tight spacing. The parking was not available but we were able to get parking nearby.“

„The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city ...

„ The Gresham is a beautiful historical building, centrally located, but the interior seemed poor with worn furniture and cheap looking plastic plant decoration everywhere. The furniture in the room seemed stylessly thrown together. Very disappointing for us: We booked a Superior Room, which was pictured with a large window front, but despite our explicit request for a bright room, we ended up with a room (403) with small windows and, to top it all off, a view partially of a dark roof directly in ...
