„The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.“

„This property is AMAZING!!! It is private but yet within a short drive to restaurants, shops, and beautiful outdoor waterfalls/rivers. It is very well furnished, well decorated, and the landscaping is beautiful. Such a peaceful and wonderful get away!!!! The owner was so gracious and helpful with booking/check in and any questions. „Wonderfully light, clean, and comfortable place to stay while we worked in the area. Peaceful view over the golf course. Yes the road is single-lane, but we never encountered another vehicle the entire week of coming and going. Carly is a great host, and we hope there is availability when we work up there next year!“

„We had an awesome stay at the cabin. Everything was as described. The location was so convenient to Cashiers. We had one rainy day and the cabin was a very cozy place to hang out, relax and watch movies. A wonderful place for a couple to enjoy. “

„We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Lining. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and perfect for a getaway in the mountains. The gas fireplace was a lovely treat on cool evenings. The house is a short drive from downtown Highlands with lots of options for restaurants and shops. The hosts are very attentive and quick to respond to questions and they offered lots of wonderful suggestions on restaurants and things to do. We would definitely stay here again. “

„I typically am not a log cabin girl. This little cabin was very, very clean! It also has been recently redone with very light wood and plenty of lighting. The screen porch was adorable and spotless! There were fresh flowers throughout the cabin. Another wonderful quality about this place is that it is walkable to downtown so we really never had to drive!“
