  • Das Hale Kai Hawaii Suites bietet vier Zimmer direkt am Meer (die einzeln gebucht werden) und einen spektakulären Panoramablick auf den blauen Pazifik und die Hilo-Bucht. Wir liegen in ruhiger Lage mit Blick auf den beliebten Surfstrand Honolii, nur 2 Meilen nördlich der historischen Stadt Hilo. Genießt die beste Aussicht in Hilo von unserem Pool und der Veranda direkt am Meer aus!

    Das „Bamboo Room“ verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche, WLAN, SMART-TV, einen kleinen Kühl-/Gefrierschrank, eine Mikrowelle, eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Wasserkocher, einen Toaster, Geschirr und Besteck, Deckenventilatoren und tragbare Ventilatoren, keine Klimaanlage sowie eine Schiebetür zur Veranda. Täglich stehen Zutaten für ein kontinentales Frühstück bereit, und wir laden alle Gäste ein, im Pool zu schwimmen oder auf der Veranda direkt am Meer zu entspannen.

    Ein paar HINWEISE: In dieser ruhigen Wohngegend steht pro Zimmer ein Parkplatz zur Verfügung. Alle Gästezimmer liegen auf der unteren Ebene des Anwesens mit Blick auf das Meer, und es sind über 30 Stufen (siehe Bild) hinunter zu den Zimmern zu bewältigen. Die Gäste sind dafür verantwortlich, ihr Gepäck selbst auf ihre Zimmer zu tragen. Buchungen sind auf 2 Gäste pro Zimmer begrenzt (einschließlich Kinder). Die Nachtruhe gilt von 21:00 Uhr bis 8:00 Uhr, damit sich alle unsere Gäste wohlfühlen – Mahalo!

    Genießt während eures Aufenthalts im Hale Kai (Haus am Meer) auf Hawaii den Anblick von Surfern, Delfinen und – je nach Jahreszeit – Buckelwalen auf ihrer jährlichen Wanderung vom Nordpazifik zu den Hawaii-Inseln. Great beautiful place and view, very clean and comfortable room. Host was great, everyday got fresh fruit and muffins. We really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend this place for a beautiful stay away from the city hussel and bussel, just 10mins to the city beautiful beaches very close by.

Affordable stat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great affordable stay in Hilo. Breakfast with pastries, milk, yogurt, and fresh fruit (the best), every day in a bed and breakfast. There isn't AC but the ceiling fan with regular fan and the windows open make it feel very cool and breezy. There are the local frogs out at night that can sometimes chirp a bit loudly, but that's the island experience. I had no issues. The pool is in a nice location, and the water was clean (the bottom could be cleaned), cleaner comes on Fridays. The only real improvements I could comment on is the access to the bamboo room requires walking through stairs but at the top there is a giant branch coming from the bush. While handling luggage it gets in the way. If I had a knife or a clipper I could clip the branch away - you'll see it's a decent sized branch. It whiplashed my wife as we were walking upstairs. The fridge in the common room was leftover from prior guests. There are eggs from 3 months ago and pizza from an unknown period of time, and other yogurt from earlier 4-5 months ago. Overall a great affordable stay though, and would return again for sure.

Amazing Hilo BNB

Absolutely amazing stay at the Bamboo room. We woke up to ocean waves, fresh papaya, boiled eggs, yogurt, and other tasty treats. We had a great time staying here and would definitely come back!

Absolutely lovely!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The view was spectacular and a dream to wake up to every morning. The staff was attentive and we enjoyed the breakfasts provided. It was a 10/10 experience and we would highly recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Hilo!

A great place for exploring Hilo

Great B&B

The room was nice, and they stocked your fridge with a nice breakfast for each morning. The pool is incredible - it over looked the ocean including a nice surfing beach and Hilo town. The room also had a nice private lanai area for each room overlooking the ocean.

Beautiful property

Property is absolutely beautiful with a nice view of the water. Room had everything we needed and the included breakfast was delicious. Location is a little bit remote but we never had a problem finding an Uber. Overall great stay.

Beautiful location, lovely accommodations

I truly enjoyed my stay at this location. I was amazed by the view and really enjoyed being directly on the ocean. The pool and hot tub were welcome, and I was able to see the humpbacks in the bay. Also, a wonderful view of the sunrise from here. The fresh fruit and breakfast accommodations were a nice touch.

Beautiful view!

Breakfast on the patio looking out over the ocean was a highlight of our trip! Our unit was good sized and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. The first breakfast was very basic, but the next two included delicious fruit plates.

Wonderful location!

The view from the big windows was spectacular. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio every morning. The floral display around the house was stunning. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We did trips to the north and south ends of the island. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
