The location was perfect for our first visit to Volcanoes national park and other sights on the windward side of the big island. The wild chickens were the favorites for the grandkids. Beautiful view of the sunrise from the upstairs or downstairs porches.This house is on the edge of a sea cliff so does not have direct access to the waterfront or a beach. « We stayed one night and couldn’t be happier with the room and location. The property was exactly as described. Communication and check-in with the host was fast and efficient. I needed to go to the ER early the next morning and the host confirmed that we found the right hospital and not an immediate care or children’s hospital. We would’ve been happy to stay longer and enjoy the other amenities but it just didn’t work this time. We will definitely look for this room next time when we are back in...

« 8 of us stayed at this wonderful property (5 adults and 3 kids under 10). It was just perfect. The house is extremely comfortable and everyone had their own space. We loved the location as for us we wanted to explore Volcano National Park and much of the east side of the island. We did go to Kona for a day which was easily accessible as well. Hilo is awesome and so is this house! »

« Beautiful house. Really enjoyed the sounds of the rainforest. The frogs and the pheasants. The hot tub was wonderful after long hikes in volcanoes national park located only 2 miles away. The house was clean with an adorable style. Highly recommend. »
