Great Month in Sea Pines!

My wife and I just spent a month in this villa and it was great! The property is pretty old, but in decent shape. The second day of our stay, the furnace went out. I called The Vacation Company and about 15 minutes later Pete came out and looked at it. The unit had to be replaced and the HVAC company came out and installed a new one. All of our dealings with The Vacation Company are great! We have rented all over the country and I think that they are the best property management company we have used. We love Sea Pines and have reserved this unit for next January and February. The only concern that we have is the bed in the master bedroom is in need of replacement.

Great Summer Getaway

We loved staying at this property. We're very familiar with Hilton Head and have stayed in various places around the city and this property is listed as one of our favorites. The Vacation Company was wonderful to work with and found them very communicative and easy to get ahold of when we decided to extend our stay. The property was clean and nice. The beds and pillows, as well as the other furniture, were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with all cooking necessities. We loved the easy beach access. With two kids, a wagon, a beach tent, chairs, and coolers, our walk was 8 minutes. My husband loved having the putting green right in our backyard. The pool was a car ride away, but only a 7-minute drive. The pool was nice and had a snack bar, but pricy so plan to bring your own cooler of drinks and snacks. I would recommend this property, and would stay here again!

Sea pines stay

Overall stay was very pleasant. A few items need attention. The mattresses need to be replaced. The showerhead in the master bedroom needs to be unclogged. The roof gutters need to be cleaned when it rains and you walk out the front door you get drenched.

Our stay was wonderful! The place was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Plenty of blankets and extra towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything to make a gourmet meal. Keys and towels for the pool were right inside the home. We will definately return!

As advertised

We have stayed in this area before, and will be back again. The proximity to the beach is great, as is the ease of getting into and out of the community. Check in and out processes were easy. We had no need to contact property management during our stay, but I’m confident any issues would have been addressed quickly.

Low quality

As Fairway Lane villas go, this was the worst. Everything seemed cheaply made/furnished/supplied. Not enough toilet supplies (paper, soaps). There are better views from other units. Absolutely no instructions about using the TV and a shortage of plugs for multiple devices. Great if this was 1980; not so great for this century.

Great location

What a fabulous two weeks we had in this charming villa. The location was perfect for a quick walk to the beach and the beach club. We took advantage of the putting and chipping green in the backyard. Biking daily from the villa was very easy. Can’t wait to return.

Excellent Stay at 89 Fairway Lane

The property was clean and welcoming. Pictures are very accurate with some minor changes to furniture. Great place for a small family or two couples. Location in sea pines is awesome. You can walk or ride a bike to beach. We will stay here again.

Sea Pines Stay

This is a great property, very spacious living areas, bedrooms, comfortable and quiet. It is an easy and quick walk to the beach. The only downside is there isn't a swimming pool on the property. Also, wish there was cabinet space for groceries.

Relaxing get away

Beautiful property and short walk to the beach

This is a beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom property located in Seapines. There is also a beautiful and spacious Carolina room with a great view. The walk to the beach is easy and less than 10 minutes (we rolled out a lot of beach gear each day). I highly recommend it!

Everything was perfect except for the check-in.

Absolutely amazing property and we'd like to rent it next year for the same period of time: 2-24-23 through 3-3-23 but it doesn't look available? Could someone reach out to me and tell me that this isn't so??? Thanks! As far as check-in was concerned, I talked to someone at The Vacation Company and told them that we would be leaving our home in Massachusetts on January 23rd for a month in Florida before we go to HHI at the end of February. I was assured that our car passes would be placed in the outside lockbox for us to pick up. I then contacted the same people before we left home in January asking if I could add one more night to the beginning of our stay in Hilton Head - this was possible and I booked that extra night again emphasizing that we would not be able to stop by the office during office hours and please don't forget to put the car passes for Sea Pines in the lockbox. Again I was assured they would be there. While we were in the Florida Keys, I received an email about our upcoming stay and again I responded saying I was looking forward to our stay at Sea Pines on HHI and to please put the passes in the lockbox. Then on the drive to HHI on Thursday, Feb. 24th I phoned the Vacation Company office saying we would certainly not be there during office hours and please don't forget to put the car passes in the lockbox. Again I was reassured "No problem!". When we arrived and opened the lockbox, there was an envelope with "Kestner" (NOT our name) on the outside and an address that was NOT ours. Sigh. Again, sitting there in the parking lot I phoned the Vacation Company and a man answered and I explained the problem and he said to wait right there as he was just on the other side of the building. He came around, we went in and he printed out our parking passes. He did not seem particularly concerned that we didn't find our envelope in the lockbox but whatever, we were good to go at that point. THEN we just got home an hour ago and what do I find in my stack of mail? You got it: 2 passes into Sea Pines, envelope dated January 31. I rest my case.
