Shorewood 501 - Penthouse 5th Floor Amazing Views!

Avec un balcon au 5ème étage accessible par le salon, les clients séjournant au Shorewood 501 bénéficient d'une vue imprenable sur l'océan Atlantique, d'une plage de sable blanc et des eaux scintillantes d'une piscine en bord de mer. Après des heures passées dans les vagues, les vacanciers reviennent de l'océan en empruntant la promenade privée pour aller à la plage, puis plongent dans la piscine d'eau douce ou dans un spa chauffé en saison. La piscine est chauffée du 1er mars au 30 avril et du 1er octobre au 30 novembre. Les tout-petits ont une pataugeoire séparée. Shorewood est un bâtiment avec ascenseur de cinq étages situé à South Forest Beach. Parmi les commodités offertes sur l’île de Hilton Head, Shorewood se trouve à deux pâtés de maisons du Coligny Beach Market, un pittoresque centre-ville qui propose à ses clients un large choix de restaurants, de boutiques et de divertissements pour tous les âges. L'emplacement de choix et le décor charmant de ce penthouse moderne en font une propriété VIP. Le propriétaire a remodelé la cuisine avec des armoires, des comptoirs et des appareils en acier inoxydable flambant neufs. Nouveaux meubles et revêtements de sol partout. Lit King dans le maître, 1 reine au 2e, 1 reine et 1 jumeau dans BR 3 plus un canapé-lit queen dans le salon.

It was ok. Beautiful view. The farthest bedroom was warmer than the others. Management explained that bedroom was the furthest from the a/c unit so it would feel warmer in that room. Wanted to sweep the floor but the broom was filled with huge dustballs. Called once to get certain things fixed. The person on the phone didn't seem the friendliest when I spoke to her so I did not bother to call back with another issue. At the end I left the villa as clean as possible like I always do. This is our 8th year at Shorewood villas.

Feedback for future stays

Lovely property with beautiful views of the ocean and pool. Really liked the layout for the bedrooms. A few things that we experienced during our stay. These were told to rental co at checkout 6-10-23 *The bottom dishwasher gasket inside was missing, so we had to keep a towel in front for leaking water. *the blue comforter on the middle bedroom bed was blood stained so should be replaced. *The master middle window would not close completely. *We could not find a broom in the condo to sweep up daily sand/grit. But there were 3 dust pans; We did find a swiffer *The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms: Closets were full of beach chairs, and other items, which didn’t allow us to store our suitcases. Would have been nice to have had mirrors on the back of the doors to see yourself while getting ready. More towels in each bathroom would have been helpful Overall it was a beautiful weather week and other than the dishwasher issue, everything else was in good working order.

Wonderful

One of our favorite condos in Shorewood. Everything was perfect, except the master bedroom mattress. It’s probably due for a replacement - two body-sized grooves on each side of the bed makes it hard to find a comfortable place to sleep.

Great location

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing stay with amazing views and a very nice pool! Also, this unit is very spacious and set in a great location that is only a very short walk to Coligny Plaza. However, there were a few complaints. First, three bedrooms have carpet, which we found odd for a beach rental. Unfortunately, my daughter and husband experienced awful sinus and allergy issues that which they never suffer at home as we have all hardwood floors. A quick trip to CVS and appropriate medication helped, though. Next, the bed located in smaller of the three rooms was awful, in my opinion, as each spring could be felt. Again, this is a personal preference complaint as we have a more firm memory foam bed at home. Third, this unit appeared to have issues with certain electrical outlets not working throughout the week. As the week progressed, we noticed certain devices would not charge or we were unable to turn on certain lamps. Lastly, though the elevator quit working one late evening, management did remedy the situation but only after roughly 18 hours. Keep in mind, a large number of folks staying here were elderly or those with very young children who had numerous items they were dragging down to the pool and/or beach. Again, this is only a minor complaint as I am uncertain the exact mechanical failure and time required to resolve the matter. Overall, though I would highly recommend this unit, I personally doubt my family would stay here again only because of the carpet and issues experienced by my husband and daughter.

Spring Break On the Ocean

Our family (wife, me, three teenagers) stayed here during a spring break. Very clean, spacious, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, nice ocean views. A bedroom closet was loaded with beach chairs, tennis rackets, golf clubs and other amenities. The pool was fun and there is a nice boardwalk beach access. Buddy from Seashore Rentals helped work though a maintenance issue. The grounds are well maintained. This is a great place to stay - we would rent it again.

Good Location - Beware of Construction

Ocean Front - Great View. We thought the deck would be bigger. The remodeled areas Kitchen, Living Room, and floor tile look great! Kitchen well stocked. The other Rooms are dated. Showers old looking. The biggest problem was the noise that woke us up one morning. They were doing construction outside and whatever they were doing was so loud inside that we couldn't even talk. Not what I expected paying rates at this level. We were not told of any construction at time of booking or at check in. I did call and leave a message. No one answered at the rental office. Someone called me back and they could hear how loud the noise was over the phone. Next I emailed and did receive a reply that they would look into it and get back with me. As it continued for another hour, I recorded the noise and sent a 2nd email. No one every called me back. The noise did stop by lunch time. Later in the week I did receive an email saying they were sorry and I had received a credit on my charge card. I'm grateful for that.

Fantastic location. The views are great. Condo is spacious and has everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Easily accommodated our group of 7 adults. Management staff is great to work with. Overall, a great place to stay when in Hilton Head.

Great Location

We booked early in the year for a property that was just what we wanted, high floor and ocean front. The owner decided to stay for our week so Buddy moved us to a comparable unit. Unfortunately, the second unit was identified as as a construction zone for our week! As soon as Buddy became aware he contacted us and offered other properties in the same area. The unit we ended up in was not as nice as we had initially booked, no beach view, but still a great location, and had a great time.

This condo had a phenomenal view. Sitting on the deck, watching waves was relaxing and good for our souls. Importantly, the condo was stocked with every amenity that we needed for our beach week. We highly recommend this spot.

Nice unit for our family getaway. Only a couple of minor issues.

We arrived after the check-in time of 4:00 p.m. and the cleaning crew was still cleaning. Had to wait 25 minutes before they were done. Also there was some wet paint that was not marked on and around the elevator and a couple of us got some on our clothes.

Best ever views for a rainy day

A first class condo with great views of the beach, pool and gardens. The end unit top floor penthouse was ideal, especially for our rainy day. Our visit was far too short. The unit came with fully equipped kitchen and entertainment. We hope to come back again. .

Anniversary celebration trip

My husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shorewood 501. The place was clean and spacious for three couples to have their own private bedrooms and baths. The proximity to the beach was perfect. We would love to come back sometime soon! The location is close to shopping, restaurants and bars. One thing I would add. I was surprised there were not facilities for recycling for garbage. We noticed late in the week the separate bins by the pool. I try to be environmentally friendly and since cans and bottles are have no deposit, that we were aware of, we hated throwing them out. Thank you for the hospitality!

Perfect view

We had a great stay. The end unit is perfect and the view was amazing. Only complaints- master bedroom needs a new bed (very uncomfortable) and the back bedroom gets very hot ( even with air conditioning on). All in all, we had a great stay- great location.
