Excellent Location

Excellent location, elevator is a must for older guests as back steps are not for the weary. Overall great stay.

Amazing time in an amazing house.

Location of the property was great with easy access to the beach. Layout of the house was perfect for our families and the pool, kids pool and hot tub were used regularly. Management was great at check-in and promptly took care of one issue, which was small. Overall GREAT experience.

Excellent all the way around

This is a great house in a fantastic neighborhood. Very easy access to a nice, quieter beach. The multiple pools are perfect for kids and adults. House is very large and roomy with several living spaces and a fun garage space. Perfect for our large extended family with kids, teens, and grandparents!

Great Family Vacation

No Beach Vacation for Us This Year Due to Hurricane Debby

My children were having their flights to Savannah cancelled and we were worried about losing power so we decided to head back home and not take any chances. I have stayed at this house before and it is wonderful for a large group. Plenty of room, wonderful pool and a house well stocked. I thought the house was well maintained.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a wonderful stay at 1 Man O War. The house is very spacious and had a large swimming pool. The house was stocked well with dishes, appliances, silverware, etc. The location was private and very quiet. It was convenient to shopping area, restaurants, and other activities on Palmetto Dunes. There was deferred maintenance that needs to be taken care of. Bulbs in lamps were missing or burnt out, some light switches not working, doors hard to close due to warping, algae in pool, A/C made clicking noise upstairs. These can be easily corrected with some maintenance.

Great VacatuIon Home

Reviewer Comments: Our extended family of 8:adults and 7 kids loved our week in 1 Man O War. It was just as nice as the pictures indicate and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had an abundance of dishes, flatware, glasses, etc. There was a huge refrigerator, along with a beverage fridge and ice machine (plus the ones upstairs.)The kids loved the pools and it was a very quick walk to the beach. We all agreed we’d love to stay there again!

one of the most beautiful properties we’ve ever stayed at on HHI!

Easy rental with a beautiful home and breathtaking pool. Kids loved it! Literally a 3 minute walk to the beach. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was lovely and as pictured. There were a few issues we did encounter that diminished the quality of her stay. The house is definitely maintained as a rental. The dryer was broken upon our arrival, along with a toilet in one of the bedrooms and the garbage disposal. It took several days for all of this to be repaired even though the parts had been ordered. Not having use of a dryer when there are limited towels for each guest including our personal beach towels was difficult. Also having the standing water in the island garbage disposal for 6 days was a little disgusting. The dryer was repaired on day 5 and the toilet on day 2. We also had a problem mid week with the pool getting so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. We had to call several time and it took 2 days for the pool company to come out. It was not on a regular schedule for maintenance as suggested. Other than that, the house was lovely and as advertised. It was just disappointing for the cost of the rental things weren't better maintained.
